attempt doing dumbell presses as a replace of bar and flex your chest once you get to the splendid. you would be impressive at how briskly you may get reliable that way. hit upon a weight it quite is kinda heavy to you. Do 12 reps, then pass up 5 kilos and do 10 reps, then 5 mor kilos and do 8 reps. finally pass back to the 1st weight and do 12 back. each and every 2 week attempt to initiate at a miles better weight.

i don't think so because to build muscle mass you need to do a weight that you can do only 4-5 reps of. I am 17, 9stone and bench press 100kg to build muscle and 70kg to build endurance. Try to chose a weight that you can only do a few reps in strict form. Do about 3-4 sets of these. To build chest muscle you can also try pec fly.

Q:I recently started lifting heavier with much lower reps and hit the 400 pound bench press. I am looking to try for the 450 mark. I was curious as to what kind of Routines and styles people use/used that helped them reach goals. I am currently 5'8 and very lean at about 185lbs give or take about 5lbs. Eating is the hardest task for me because I lack a big appetite, however I try to eat 3 solid meals a day with a snack or 2 in between. Mainly Chicken and Rice. I am curious about length of workouts/exercises/routines/rep ranges/supplements. I use some cheap generic protein to cut down on costs along with Jack3d for my pre workout drink.
400 lbs 185 lbs is nearly elite, assuming your form is good and you're not doing it on a Smith press and are doing FULL reps to your chest and back up. Do you squat, clean, or deadlift at all? With 400 lbs on a bench press you should be lifting four plates on each side easily for deads.
Q:So after I press my flowers in a book for about a month and take them out, how do I preserve the color?I've read so many answers but nobody seemed to have answered this. Q:When wondering if a guy is strong the other person will always ask how much the guy bench presses. But I can kick the crap out of people in football by popping and tackling them and even won a couple fights against people saying they can bench like a 150 pounds. I know they can do it though but I can only bench press 100 pounds like 2 times but am stronger than people who bench more than me. Does it just mean that I have a weak chest or that bench press means nothing or that I;m weak?
Bench press is a good indicator of overall strength. Benching 150 is pretty weak. 240 is my warm up set.
