Q:PVC can the pipe joint be butted with the joint? How do I get it?
For example: 110mm diameter PVC pipe joint two, to connect them, you can cut a 110PVC tube (length 8cm), at the end of a first pipe with special glue inserted into a connector, then put another head on glue, then inserted into another joint, so ok.
Q:I have a daughter who is 8 and wets the bed. She had stopped for a whole year and then started back up. I have tried taking her to the doctor and they say she is normal, I have talked with her and she says she is happy, I have also tried limiting her water intake before bed, but nonthings working. Do anyone know if this is normal? I love my baby, but I want to help her, plus washing the sheet and blankets everyday is getting to be a bit much.
There is different threads, but the most common are pipe thread, if I remember right is 11 threads per inch. Then there is compression fittings that have a finer thread. Then there is hose fittings which is coarser than pipe thread. It'll help if we had a description of what you are doing.
Q:keeping us in line with their fire hoses billy clubswhile the rich get richer and we have hard lives?
I also built a desk out of 2 plastic sewer pipe fittings plus a sheet of plywood and it served me well thru 9 years of university. The trick to making it sturdy is those cool Y T L fittings. Remember, it's triangles that make stuff rigid. Use 4 L-fittings i.e. 90 degree elbows and pipe to make a rectangle to fit the desk top. Cut the rectangle apart so you can insert four T fittings in the long sides for legs. Cut it again so you can insert two Y fittings about 12 inboard from the back legs. Experiment a little so you can run support pipes at an angle from the Y fittings at the back down to intersect with Y fittings in the back legs. Cut again so you can insert two Y fittings about 12 back of the front legs. Experiment a little so you can run support pipes at an angle from the Y fittings on the sides down to intersect with Y fittings in the front legs. Secure the 3/4 plywood top to the frame with eight 3 1/2 - 4 carriage bolts thru the top and thru the horizontal support pipe, secured with washers and nuts on the bottom. Don't skimp on the bolts; you need 'em all to make this thing totally integrated. Once the top is bolted onto the frame, it makes a solid, good looking desk. Buy some oak edge-trim that you put on the edge of the desktop with a clothes-iron. Touch it up with some fine sandpaper. Add 2 -3 coats of high-gloss urethane finish and you've got a desk that will last foreever. (hey, I'm 45 and still use mine at the cottage) One last tip: dry fit the whole frame and get it the way you want it before you glue anything. Then glue small sections at a time.
Q:I am trying to find a good drill for drilling into small pieces of sea glass, gemstones ,resin and metal. Please recommend a good affordable drill.
It's been reported that the fire resulted from some phone lines in a closetwhy set the white house on fire when a shredder is more efficient and less noticeable. Sometimes Sh*t happenslet's wait until the investigation is complete. Jumping to conclusions is never a good idea. I will reserve my opinion until all of the facts are presented and I have had ample opportunity to research the conclusions offered.
Q:What is the definition for the k factor for a hydrant or what does the k factor represents?Qk*sqrt(p)thanks!
I never rode bulls - but in my youth, I used to do 3-day events. The cross-country course - miles at a full gallop - taking jumps made from telephone poles, stone (real stone) walls and whiskey barrels - is a killer - literally. I have had broken bones, I'm missing teeth and once spent weeks in traction - Horse fell on a jump - and we went tumbling. I was taken to the hospital in a heap - the horse was humanely destroyed. That was 40-odd years ago before body armor, teeth guards and helmet straps that don't break. Yeah. I think bull riding falls into that kind of sport. I like helmets and body armor and teeth guards. It's not un-manly to want to continue walking. My eventing days are over now - and I can still ride - but I stick to quiet trail rides.
Q:Im looking at few few different rods that I have my mind on. One being the berkley lightning shock series and the other being the abu garcia Vendetta rod. I want something in medium heavy and from 6.6ft to 7ft. I have a reel for it already. Its a diawa black widow 2 reel. Any suggestions?
In lieu of doing tile work I find replacing wall board i.e. sheet rock easier. Most likely the shower faucets back-up to a bedroom or a room of some sort? Locate the area and cut out a large enough piece of wall board i.e. sheet rock cut a large enough area for you to easily solider the new shower manifold in without being cramped. Strap it to your studs to limit or prevent movement replace the sheet rock repaint and you’re done.
Q:So far they have wins over,Danny Bryan,Kane,Jawn Seena,Randy Orton,Sheamus,Big Slow,The Undertaker,Ryback,Chris Jericho, pretty much every top face in the company. Now that they've faced and beaten everybody there is to beat, who will they lose to without looking weak? I think a few loses here and there would have help so they could have future matches to avenge the loses.
The consequences may be that your pipe will have a totalitarian containment.
Q:these stripes were applied professionally from the factory..I am looking for away to soften the material(3M reflective) to pull this off from the paint?
If you mean the drain pipe that connects to your sewer system it can get pricey depending on how much needs to be removed, replaced. Typically, the costs come in labor rather than in parts when it comes to pipes and fittings. IF what you're asking about involves where the toilet seats to the floor, and IF you actually need to replace everything vs. just reseating the commode (1 source of leaks in a toilet is a bad seal $10.00 part and 45 minutes of labor), then at a minimum you're looking at getting a new flange, (perhaps with extensions), a new wax ring, likely an elbow of some kind, and an appropriate run of pipe. All those parts run about $50.00 (Give or take) when working with plastic/PVC. More with metal. To replace them means moving the commode (15-30 minutes), cleaning the area and removing the damaged pipe. Depending on the damage that could take a couple of hours or it could take another 15-30 minutes. Replacing, cementing, fixing, futzing I'd anticipate 2.5 hours and $75.00 in parts. Not sure what your plumber charges by the hour. Good luck.
Q:i was recently in a car wreck and the airbags went off. i heard you are supposed to throw the clothes you were wearing away. is it safe to continue to wear them?
If it's leaking out of the stem packing, you can tighten the packing nut - just a little at a time, and with the valve closed. Anything else and you probably have to replace the valve.
Q:how is thermoluminescence detectors work?
Is this a self installation? If it is you may want to check the wiring hook up at the ignition switch, if you did a hook up there. If not, check for power at all disabling points, such as coil pack, fuel pump. Basically retrace your steps. Possibly a wire is hooked into the wrong wire. I had this problem with a remote starter. Let me know if this helps you at all.
