Q:What color rug would you use with Navy Curtain?
light blue or slate blue rug in front of sectional not under it
Q:Which carpet is good, polyester carpet or polypropylene fiber carpet?
Polyester is better than polypropylene. Polyester is generally divided into polyester filament and staple fiber, but polypropylene's wear resistance is good than polyester, because of light texture, friction resistance, especially compared with polyester carpet, polypropylene belongs to the synthetic fiber, now polypropylene fiber is more used in the carpet . The key of even a good carpet is easy to take care of, cheap, there is another point is that it's easy to take care of from the hand feeling, polypropylene fiber belongs to the chemical fiber.
Q:what is the best product to clean rugs?
A bit more information about what they are made off, what type, how big and what sort of soiling would be good. However I will assume you mean floor rugs and normal cleaning. Sprinkle bicarb soda all over the rug and leave for 10-15 min. Vacuum.
Q:Do donkeys need a rug in the winter?
I agree with Janian. They shouldn't need a rug. Donkeys (and horses) can handle cold just fine. What they can't handle is a combination of wet and windy. Then they might need a waterproof blanket, but they should have a shelter to stay dry in anyway. A blanket can actually make them colder by pushing down the fluffy hair, which is meant to insulate them from the cold.
Q:How often should you get carpeting professionally cleaned? ?
Please do not listen to the best answer above. Carpet manufactures recommend you clean your carpet every 6 months to 1 year by a professional cleaner who uses the hot water extraction method. Many carpets now days come with a stain warranty and if you do not have it cleaned at least once a year your warranty will be void. Dirt acts like sandpaper to carpet and wears it out prematurely. The only reason it would attract dirt as the answer above states is that it was not rinsed properly. This happens most often with home cleaning systems because there is no rinse process to their equipment. A professional steam cleaner should spray on their cleaners first and then use either only water or a chemical rinse to neutralize the soap so there should be little to no residue remaining. I am a professional carpet cleaner and am speaking from experience.
Q:how to stretch carpet?
Your answer from CowboyDoc was something very important to consider. The age of the carpet. Having been the owner of a flooring store for many years, I totally agree with what Doc told you. If the carpet is old, you can most certainly rip it. Your answer from John G was accurate as to how to do it. I sure would have liked to have him on my staff of installers. He sounds very knowledgeable. I hope you have good luck with your stretching job. And DO consider the age of the carpet. Once it rips you are going to be forced to buy new carpet. I hope that doesn't happen. Best of luck to you.
Q:What is wrong with my area rug?
Yes it helps to have something under it like a rug pad. It is probably creeping on the floor, a rug pad or rubber bottom should anchor it in place better
Q:My pony is afraid of his rug...?
I agree with the previous poster, let him smell it, throw it over his back, rub him down with it...make it seem like its no big deal. If you drape it over him, leave it on for 5 seconds and then take it off, then put it back on for 10 seconds, take it off, ect. The more you do that, the more he will get used to having it around. As for the sweet itch, use a product called EQyss. Its $30 for a bottle (big bottle) and its garunteed to work. I used it on my boy when he got rainrot and it cleared it all up. You can buy the shampoo and then use the spray as well but I just bought the spray and it did an amazing job.
Q:my cat wont stop peeing the rug?
Last year my beautiful Manx cat Theodore went out for the evening and never came back. I love cats and the house didn't feel the same without one, so I picked up Lola from a rescue centre. She was very frightened and would pee all over the house. I found Cat Spraying No More on the internet and the techniques worked almost immediately. I haven't had a problem with Lola since. Amazing! Can't stop your cat peeing in the house? Then worry no more...
Q:How many rugs do you have at home?
1 in family room 1 in dining room 1 in basement play area
