Design Features of full welded forged steel ball valve

The body of ball valve is full welded, selects high quality forged material, and adopts the advanced forged forming technology to form two semi-spheres which are welded into a whole in the middle of the body. This welding technology differentiates the ball valve form others, and makes the valve more spherically,so the valve structure is more compacter, lighter and stronger.Besides, the middle direct welding realize highly accurate valve body manufacturing, makes fully and completely sealing between the seat and ball. The full welding instead of bolts completely avoids the outside leakage,so ball valve is the ideal product for under-ground,offshore working platform and under-sea equipments.

Adopting fixed plates or trunnion to support the ball

The top and bottom of the ball is supported by upper and lower fixed plates or stem and trunnion, and the ball is accurately placed in the center of the ball valve to achieve complete seals and precise movements. When plate adopted, the force exerted by the medium to the ball is distributed via the plate to the left and right bodies,so that the stem does not bear the blending moment from the medium, but only the torque from the ball rotation during the opening/closing of the valve. The low-friction PTFE Teflon composite bearings installed between the ball axis and fixed plate and between the stem and the trunnion can absorb ball moving action caused by the pressure of the medium. This structure brings stable actions and easy operations for the ball valves, and the required operation torque can be reduced,so smaller actuators can be used, and the cost is cut down.

ball valve seat is floating structure, means the seat can move along the medium direction,so that the seat can fit against the ball all the time.
Double piston effect structure seat of full welded forged steel ball valve
Seat design is special double pistons effect structure,it can ensure the seal wherever the medium flows into the ball valve.

Seat multistage seal strucute of full welded forged steel ball valve
As following graphic instruction,on seat bearing ring, set two soft sealing rings(A and B)and metal sealing spherical surface which can seal with the ball.Seat ring A is spring loaded, which seals the surface with the ball tightly to the surface to form an initial seat; When there is pressure generated from medium, the piston force is generated to make seal ring A elastically deformed and seal ring B fit the surface of the ball surface due to the piston effect caused by area difference, thus the second seal forms. When the medium pressure is rising. It will generate huge pressure to seal ring A and seal ring B,so the two seals have a greater elastic deformation, then metal seal ball surface compact with ball surface to form the third level of metal to metal seal.

Secondary seat seal device of full welded forged steel ball valve
As the above graphic instruction, the secondary seal device(seat grease injection valve)can be chosen according to the actual working condition, medium requirement, seal requirement, etc.Seat ring grease injection valve is a one-way valve, installed on the body, which can prevent the leakage and inject grease under the outside force. When secondary seal is required, there is a grease injecting channel and hole on the seat ring. The grease can form a seal between the seat and the ball, and then stop the leakage.

Q:I am replacing my vanity sink with a Pedestal sink. I turned the shut off vales to the off position tight.I disconnected the cold water and drained the remaining water and everything was fine. I disconnected the hot and drained the water from the connecting tube but water still came out of the shut off valve at a decent pace.I placed my finger over the valve and i felt pressure build up...like when you stick your finger over a bottle of soda.I tightened the bolt on the valve and even the screw to the handle to no resolve.any ideas on how to make it stop while i connect the Pedestal sink?also, i am as novice as it gets.thanks in advance
You can turn the water off outside where it comes into the house. There should be a shut-off valve there. That will stop your valve from leaking until you get everything hooked back up. You can also turn it off at the meter if you want. There's a shut-off inside there too.
Q:What is a valve mismatch in cars. code 300, 302, 420. All togather. Mechanic is telling the truth to do tune up and all. Is iT valve itsef? What is a (bad) coild? MITSUBISHI MIRAGE 2000
Wherever you are get out. You are about to be ripped off. This will probably be too late. I gather the code you gave is the trouble code, as they are called, from the cars obd. The code 300 is random / multiple cylinder misfire. The code 302 is cylinder # 2 misfire The code 420 is catalytic system below threshold bank # 1 Deciphered this means you have a spark plug misfiring in cylinder #2, bank # 1. The misfire is causing a rich gas mixture in the exhaust system that is detected by the sensor and therefore it says you have a catalytic converter problem. I would suggest you replace your spark plugs, if they have a lot of miles on them. Are they the original plugs ? I f so they are probably due. Get out of there and go find an honest shop that will not rip you off. Now that you know the problem they can;t cheat. I don't know what all that other valve business was about but all you have is a misfiring spark plug.
Q:What would this envole, can i size up/down the port on the existing valve with just changing the mechanical componts.

Q:Is there any application usuage of ball valve in comparison, most engineers opinion is as Valve size get reduces in reduced port.Other than this what paramteres decides in selection of either of one

Q:I did a compression test, and I have a broken valve. everything else is in perfect condition besides this valve and I have carbon getting built up in one of my pistons. Can I run the car like this? What cause this from happening what was the cause age?1999 Ford Explorer 4.0 OHV with 146k,miles
Let me guess, cylinder number 3? (passenger rear) Let me explain. In the last year, we've had three 4.0 Explorer's in our shop with a hung valve on #3. The last one we had in the shop, the valve broke without warning and broke the rod which cracked the block on the drivers side. They said it was running fine one second and made some noise and it started missing. It wasn't even knocking when it came in. Something about the #3 on those.
Q:Is a leaky heart valve considered to be a form heart disease?
Hello, Yes, it is. Obviously the leak is still within the arteries, - no blood is leaking out of the heart, - any leak is only in the backwards direction of blood-flow. One function of the valves is to stop blood which has just been pumped, from falling backwards again to where it came from. As soon as the pumping action stops, the valve has to close to lock the pumped-blood in its new forward position. If any blood leaks back through the closed valve, that is called regurgitation of blood, - and the closed valve which is leaking is described as incompetent or insufficient, in medical language. Sometimes newborn babies are born with a heart valve (or valves) that leak backwards, having not been properly formed in the womb, - or sometimes the valve (or valves) are damaged in adult life by some disease, - for example, infections like Rheumatic Fever or Syphilis, (both rare nowadays). I hope this is of some help. Best wishes, Belliger retired uk gp
Q:My baritone is somewhat new, the first valve isn't going down, I've tried nearly everything and I want to avoid taking school instrument to a music store to repair.
I have played for over 30 years and have a few to many horns. But I love to play. Sounds like its time for a bath. Take your horn to the bath tub. Fill the tub with warm water and a little DAWN dish soap. Lisen to me and buy DAWN, not something else. Palmolive tasts nasty, and the others do not cut the grease on the horn. Gently take out the valves and all slides. Lay them on an old towel. Lay the horn in the tub on an old towel so you dont scratch the tub. Let it soak. While the body soaks. Wash the valves. The valve might unscrew off the top stem. This would be great because you do not want to get the felt or corks wet. Be very gentle and careful, use an old white sock to scrub the old oil off the valve. Now that the valves are washed, rinse the valves with clean water. Now, take the old white sock that you just used and twist it. Then you can feed this into the valve case on your horn. Pull it through each of the three valves a few times. If you are realy good to your horn, you may even buy a snake made for cleaning trombones and baritones and run it through every pipe on the horn. Now rinse and dry everything. There should be no oil or grease left on the horn or the slides. If you find any go back and wash it off. First grease up the slides with slide grease or lanolin. Then oil (not grease) the valves with a good quality valve oil such as Blue Juice, Holton or Al Cass. Use just a few drops of oil on each valve. You place 2 (Two) drops on at a time and gently slide the valve into the horn. Spin and with any luck it will play like a dream. Now, you need to stop eating before you play. And never oil the valves through the hole in the bottom, that is where all the dirt is going. If you must, oil through the leadpipe. I remove the valves after I play and oil them. They are always ready to play this way.
Q:I keep the tire pressure in my tires at approx 40 lbs per tire. I have an inexpensive tire gauge that I use to measure the pressure. Recently, one tire seemed low, so I measured the pressure and the batteries were dead in the tire gauge. I replaced them and measured again. It said 20.5! I thought I was going crazy, but then measured all the other tires and they were around 35 to 40. I filled up all the tires to about 40, but when I measured the weird one again, it said only 30!The question is, could there be a problem with the tire valve that is preventing me from getting a good measure of the pressure? I filled up the tire to where it looks really filled up, and I'm afraid to overfill it. I'd like to get it to 40 lbs but I don't know if it's already gt; 40 lbs with a tire valve problem. Or if a tire that's at 20 pounds can look so filled up that you couldn't tell it from a tire that's at 40 pounds?Any info would be appreciated.
The tire valve won't cause a poor reading. If there is air leaking when you test the air pressure, you can get a low reading. Hold the guage square on the valve and if you get a reading and don't hear air hissing while you are getting the reading, the guage will be right. Trust it and fill up your tire.
Q:I have a intake valve leakage in both my car and truck. If there some sort of quick fix i could use to stop the leakage for about 1 month.
I think your confused. The intake valve lets fuel and air into the combustion chamber, there is no antifreeze held in by the intake valve. If you have an antifreeze leak that is visible on the outside of the engine, you can trace the leak to the source of he leak and repair it. If you are not mechanically inclined, I would take the vehicles to a reliable shop. ASE Master Tech 30 + yrs. Retired.
Q:I have an 98 Mitsubishi Eclipse rs and its a little jerky while driving and i think it might be the PCV valve but I don't know where it is located.. where is it? and would this cause the check engine light to come on?
