Q:I have recently mounted a Meiller MK 40 R / 2 crane on my truck and I wonder if my truck's hydraulic pump can support it without problems. I have a Mercedes-Benz 813 truck of 1987 and the crane is more or less the same years by the way. Should I change my truck's pump?

Q:What association does Wing Chun have with Fujian White Crane (Tiger-crane) kung fu?
Wing Chun Fist is derived from White Crane Fist and Snake Fist. The original name of the White Crane Fist is Eng Chun Bai He Quan. The Eng Chun part is the Fukienese dialect for Wing Chun, which is the name of the Village it derived in. It is also pronounced Yong Chun White Crane Fist and from it is where Wing Chun derives its Fajing technique known as 1 inch punch. The 5 Ancestor style is Ngo Cho Kuen or Wu Zu Quan, again - dialectal differences. It is also a Fukienese Art. Wing Chun, a Southern Shaolin Style is NOT related in ANY way to Hsing I Chuan, which is of Wu Tang/Taoist origin. Goju Ryu has some White Crane Influence but is derived from the Hakka Arts like Southern Mantis, Bak Mei and the like. Tiger Crane and White Crane are not related. The crane in the Hung Family Boxing is more the Tibetan White Crane and not the Fujian Crane. There is a mix up in the history which makes it a bit complicated. Gee Sim was from the Northern Shaolin School and went south to the Fukien temple to escape the Ching. He taught there, met Hung Hei Koon and taught him Tiger Fist. Gee Sim and Hung also left Fukien because of the Ching and went to Guandong and there is where Hung Fist developed into what it is today. The White Crane Fist of Fujian/Fukien came from the 18 Lohan Style Fang Chi Niang learned from her Father, who was a student at the Fukien temple, and mimicry of Crane movements. These styles, Crane and Hung were being developed around the same time but hundreds of miles apart. It is known that Wong Fei Hung trained in Lama Pai aka Tibetan Crane and also he is credited with creating the Tiger Crane Form aka Fu Hok. I hope this helps.
Q:Do cranes play major role in Japanese culture? How so? Do cranes live in Japan?
yea, i think there was this japanese girl, and she was exposed to radiation from that bomb in Hiroshima (i think) so she ended up being diagnosed with cancer and yea, she believed that if she folded enough paper cranes (coz cranes apparently live to very old, so if she could fold 1000 of them, she would live longer), she would get better... so she kept folding them until she died.. TT___TT such a sad story... So now the crane represents peace! yea.. thats all i remember... ^^
Q:Is there a certain direction and reason a construction worker will leave a crane facing a certain direction.
Like 2 others said... if the predicted winds are to be higher than, say, 25 mph, they would point the crane into the predicted direction of the wind. If there are no high winds predicted, then it doesn't matter, BUT, they would probably point it in a direction that would do the least amount of damage should the crane support fail, for whatever reason. OR, they might leave it in position over the loading area, so they can begin picking up immediately the next day. .
Q:In the U.S. please and tell me where and how you got the number. Thanks!!!
There are so many overhead cranes in operation today in the US and around the world. They could be numbering in tens of thousands in industries and other operations. An overhead crane, commonly called a bridge crane, is a type of crane found in industrial environments. An overhead crane consists of parallel runways with a traveling bridge spanning the gap. A hoist, the lifting component of a crane, travels along the bridge. If the bridge is rigidly supported on two or more legs running on a fixed rail at ground level, the crane is called a gantry crane (USA, ASME B30 series) or a goliath crane (UK, BS 466). Unlike mobile or construction cranes, overhead cranes are typically used for either manufacturing or maintenance applications, where efficiency or downtime are critical factors. Have a pleasant day.
Q:I'm 17 and I was planning on reading it for class, do you think it will be easy to read?
Stephen Crane, Maggie is fantastic! I read it in school when I was 14 so I have no doubt you will have no problems in reading it. Maggie is the tale of an inevitable fall from grace on the part of a young, innocent girl trapped in the vicious world of New York City's slums. Yearning for acceptance and love, beaten at home by alcoholic parents, Maggie sets out with Pete, a local bartender whose cultured mannerisms elicit great respect from the impressionable young girl. However, when Pete spurns her for another, Maggie is ejected out onto the street, forced into prostitution to make a living. We last see her moving off, a huge, oily fat man in tow, for a darkened corner in the city's seedy underworld. If Upton Sinclair's The Jungle is a torrent of social anger and protest, Crane's Maggie is like a brilliant lightning strike, flashing across our vision and leaving us temporarily blinded. The book--scarcely 70 pages--is succint, brutish, and merciless. Crane allows his readers to form their own opinions regarding the characters. His innovative use of near-phonetic spelling to depict in the reader's ear the local dialect of New York's rough neighborhoods was shocking and difficult to comprehend when the book was first released. It lends Maggie an air of earthy legitimacy. Ultimately, Maggie is a cry for the plight of poor children--the souls we overlook with a callous unease mirrored in Pete's offhand, uncaring rejection of young Maggie's genuine love and affection. It is, without qualification, Stephen Crane's greatest and most moving achievement.
Q:What is the book about? Is it a good one?
My teacher read it to my class a few years ago so its kinda hard to remember, but it was about a girl living in Japan who gets diagnosed with a disease (i think cancer, but i'm not sure) and she beleived from the old Japanese story, that if you make a 1001 paper cranes, you would be granted a wish. Of course her wish would have been to live without the disease. Though, sadly, before she could make 1001 paper cranes, she lost to the disease and died. It had some really sad parts in it too, like how her best friend in the hospital with her died too. Also, this was a true story Her school desided to finish making the cranes for her, (which was very sweet) :) Our school also did it too hope you read it!
Q:Ever since a few weeks ago, these retarded giant mosquitos thingys keep on flying into my house from somewhere and they always come into my office and bother me, so im wondering what month they come and what month they leave?
Crane flies tend to live in wooded areas and open fields, but they can live nearly anywhere, including snowy northern climates and desert lands. In order for their eggs to hatch and larvae to grow into adults, they require either water or damp, decaying material in which to lay their eggs, depending on the species. Crane fly larvae and pupae can be found in damp sod or compost piles, or under the decomposing leaves on the banks of rivers, streams, ponds or lakes. Crane fly larvae and pupae feed on decomposing material, grass and the roots of many plants. This makes them a beneficial insect, as they assist in the cycle of decomposition. Once they emerge in late winter or early spring as adults, after maturing over the winter, their primary purpose is to mate and lay eggs.
Q:I have these sand cranes that always come up to our house and we feed them bread they never were aggressive but now one certain one is getting more aggressive. We have a screened porch and they come up to it and there putting holes in it to get our attention and there making like a noise thats not that normal when they see us. The one certain one is getting more aggressive towards the other birds poking on the them and chasing them. There is a group of four and they always stay together. the other three arent as aggressive as the one. He is bigger then the rest of them and is almost like the boss you could mostly tell he was before. He always let the other eat first while he watched around and when we gave them bread he used to be the last one up there now hes the first one there and literally runs to us when he sees us.
Sounds like the aggressive is the Dominate male of the herd. I know you like to feed them but that's what started the problem. He is being Dom so he can get more food and be the first to eat. Once they figure out you're not going to feed them they will go back to behaving normal. These are cool to look at, even though they can get loud sometimes. Have you ever seen tourist feed sea-gulls at the beach. Locals don't do it. Sea Gulls will get as aggresive as the Sand Cranes and actually dive bomb people. Imagine what a Sand Crane can do being what 10 times the size

Then i opt to advise which you're making a cake. ideally , a banana, because it quite is my typical. And deliver it to me in the mail. via now, i'll bless you that your place and family individuals besides as acquaintances, are all wanted nicely and which you're no longer killed from one in each of your paper cranes stabbing you in the attention.
