- Q:I have an old school Soundstream 500s amplifier(500 Watts) and I want to put it in my 1965 Mustang Coupe. I want to have a small but clean sounding system for the old car, probably with two small subwoofers too. I need to get all new cables for this sound system, so what would be a good power cable for the amp? I need roughly about 25-30 ft. of cable just to be safe and a fuse as well.
- Kicker,Tsunami,Memphis, or KnuConceptz. U can get away with 8awg but thats a nice car and u dont want to risk fryin anything so stick with 4awg I really dont recommend 8awg in ANY setup just dont like it, 4awg is perfect and gives u headroom as well, and 0awg wuld be overkill.

- Man that could be tough. It sounds like a belt drive turntable, I'm sure of the name of the part, but it's basically there to move the belt; it isn't metal so it isolates the belt, thus reducing vibration and transmission of motor noise. That's what I think it is anyway. I'll bet if you go on some audiophile web sites, you can find a parts listing for that model, and get a name and part number. Technics were very popular, I've got a belt drive one myself that I haven't hooked up in 10 years.

- a lot worse actually. if you think you are gonna get a 2nd amp, go for bigg wire an 1/0 guage could beat 5 or more 4 guages, because the current would be very accurate. the only time you split ur wire is to go to a diff amplifier that will draw its own current, otherwise ur probably not being accurate with it. ur amp needs more current if it doesn't stay consistent or if it goes into protection. ask another question, and include statts on ur amplifier like ohm loads and RMS and what fuses are on the side of it

- It wont hurt anything.. You can always go larger, but the 7 ga will be hard to work with and attach to smaller wires...Unless you are using a very small guage 26 or something, it wont make any difference in your reception... Replacing the antenna, adding an antenna tuner, remounting the antenna to a different location, phasing two cb antennas and tuning to the exact frequency or channel you use most of the time will improve the reception and transmission.. You need a SWR meter to do this...

- Q:power supply, however it comes with some cables that can be attached to the peripheral 4 point cable then ran into the card itself. can this setup work? Or will I need a new power supply with 2 6 point pci express power cables? Oh by the way its a 600 watt power supply I currently have.
- The addapter to the 4pin molex will work just fine. If your pickie about your computer like I am, then you can purchase a new power supply, but there really isnt any need.

- its safe but its better to run 2 separate wires due to you are wanting to use more power and one wire has a max load that it can handle...you run 2 and you will have more power to each amp
- Q:I'm trying to run a cable and power outlet into a closet for a media space but im not sure how to add the outlets in there. The area where the closet is, is on a wall that has no outlets and behind the closet is a bathroom which has no outlets on that side of the wall either so theres nothing to tap into. please help.thank you.
- What's under and over the closet? If the basement (unfinished is best for tapping into and no worries of going through multiple walls) is under it, you may have a bunch of choices to tap into. Make a list of what circuit breaker/fuse every light, outlet, appliance is on, you don't want to overload a already full circuit.
