Q:need help for safety hazard for diesel motor?
Diesel exhaust can eliminate the oxygen in a room. Be sure the exhaust system doesn't leak into the room. Where is the intake coming from? Is there a separate duct for intake air or does the engine take air from the room. The exhaust pipe will be hot, and needs people protection. Exposed belts should have a guard so nothing can accidentally be caught or jammed into them. Is the cooling fan guarded or protected? Can the shut down switch/lever be quickly and easily operated. Is the fuel tank separate from the engine? Is there a fuel shutoff valve? Just some things to consider.
Q:Are diesel generator sets AC or DC? What is the difference between AC gen sets and DC gen sets?
a Generator set can be AC or DC. More commonly AC, because most commercial machines and equipment is AC. Commercial DC gen sets are commonly found electromagnetic applications. Some are used in Traction applications like subways and trains. Some DC motor-generator sets provide the field currents for large commercial power Alternators/ AC generators as in hydro-electric dams. My experience AC generators have less maintenance issues than DC units. The control (switching) of large DC currents is much more demanding than AC and has a whole set of problems that are unique to DC. DC controls devices are typically heavier for the same power than AC AC current switching is easier due to the current wave passing through a zero point every half cycle. Q:self build generator AVR problem advice and componants please?
You have to set up a speed control of some sort. There are electronic versions out there that run off the frequency of the alternator. They are not cheap. It is surprising just how much power is required to produce your desired electrical output. I have a large diesel direct coupled to a four pole alt.with mechanical speed control also for 1500 rpm for 50Hz 240V and have also found a little issue when welding with it. If the governor is set for the load it can over rev a bit - if set to be perfect without load it struggles to get back up to 230V if welding at 120A plus. It's been easier to live with it in the end. If you are stalling out you will have to do something about a reliable speed control - check out the quality alternative energy companies that actually install RAP systems and ask about the control setups they can provide for exactly your situation. Keep looking because there are systems that will fix your problem, and give you a very useful machine! Good luck.

according to load. It typically measured output voltage and adjusts throttle to reach an aim voltage. When output voltage drops due to load, it indirectly increases throttle.

You may have to run it by itself, depending on its size some stoves can pull alot of amps. That's according to classical physics. You'll notice that race cars from the 60's and earlier had skinny tires because of the principle that the friction coefficient was not dependent on surface area but since then, race car tires have gotten wider and softer. At first the mechanism as to why wider tires worked better wasn't known but in the 80's they realized that it had to do with the structure of materials at a microscopic level. Basically the surfaces are not smooth at a microscopic scale and hence are not in continuous contact though pressure increases the percentage of the surfaces that actually interact more so than the overall cross sectional surface area hence the independence on surface area was actually an illusion and could be greatly affected by the type of material involved hence soft tires designed to adhere, actually bonding to the road surface. Physics is a lot like statistics, unless you consider every possible consideration and there's likely an infinite number of considerations, the conclusions drawn are not necessarily conclusive. Hub motors actually increase the rotational and unsprung mass considerably creating handling problems and additional energy loss due to the suspension. There's already diesel serial hybrid buses that use hub motors but at those scale, the additional rotational and unsprung mass is a much smaller percentage of the overall vehicle mass.
