VFR C eccentric rotary valve valve has a novel construction. The gyration centre of plug is not concentric with revolving shaft, which can be decrease seat abrasion and extended service life. There is a diversion ala at the back of the plug in favor of steady and large flow and wide adjustable extent. The seat leakage of the valve complies with ANSI B16.104 standard.

Q:Model 28 BS 12.5 HP engine intake valve sticks. Please advise.When under a full load like tall grass, it runs great, but when the load is not as heavy, the intake valve sticks open, spewing gas back through the carb and mis-firing.

Q:i am hearing tapping on top under of vale cover sound like valve need adjusting
time to change oil, use thicker oil or yep, adjust valves. not a monstrous project but time consuming. Need torque wrench, valve cover gasket and shim kit to adjust. It's a pain as u have two nuts on each valve adjustment rocker bolt. tightening causes the lower one to drop sometimes so u may find yourself adjusting the valves 2-3 times each. I did it on my old Acura with 78K miles. ran smoother. i dropped in a pulley kit and cold intake as well but afterwards. the head was real clean as I change oil regularly. I had tapping even after changing the knock valve so I knew the valve job was needed.

I will rstrict myself to only the types other wise the selection criteria are many. GLOBE: These are used for controlling a process parameter loop. They cause medium pr. drop are ideal for clean fluids. The shape of the stem is contoured to get the desired characteristics. The repeatability of the type in flow control make it ideal for closed loop control. BUTTERFLY: These are low pr drop devise that are used primarily where u can't allow higher pressure drops. Good for clean fluids in on/off service. Even allowed for gases. it opens/shuts faster than other types of valves. Sealing characteristics are not as good as ball valve, particularly unsuitable for fluids containing solids.

good blood does not mix with bad blood. The values have nothing to do with that as the two sides of the heart are separate. With Mitral valve incompetence or prolapse, the valve does not close like it is suppose to. That allows back flow of blood. If bad enough, the treatment is a valve replacement. With Mitral valve stenosis, the valve does not open like it is suppose to. That prevents flow through the valve. The treatment is a valve replacement or sometimes a simple cut in the valve to relieve the stenosis can be done. Either way, if bad enough, surgery is needed, not pills.

Unscrew your valve, remove the bottom valve cap, and carefully push out the valve with a drumstick or something. Clean the valve off with a cotton swab and some vinegar, rinse it off gently with lukewarm water, oil 'er up, and put her back in. If you've messed your instrument up to the point where your valve caps are all stuck from lack of cleaning, you're going to have to take it to a professional. Don't force them with a tool or anything or you'll strip them. Haha, good luck. Matt
Q:I replaced the valve cover seal and I wanted to know the torque specs for the valve cover bolts and the sequence it should go
I have a Hayne's Manual that's for 2001 through 2003. It says to tighten all the valeve cover bolts to 40 inch pounds, initially. Then--when all are at that setting, tighten all of them to 80 inch pounds. Then when all are that tight, do the final tightening to 105 inch pounds. Sounds like a weird way to do it, but I bet it won't leak if you follow these directions .... Before doing this, apply a light coating of RTV sealant onto the corners of number 1 and number 6 camshaft bearing caps (I guess some oil will leak if this isn't done). In other words, the back corners as you're facing the engine from the front of the car. Tightening sequence: Do all the middle ones first, starting with the bolt in the middle of the valve cover, then the one just above it, then the one just below it. Then do the same sequence for the left three bolts. Then do the same sequence for the right three bolts. Then get a Hayne's manual, because it may not be perfect, but it shows a lot of torque settings and other stuff you will need in the future. I don't wrench all that often anymore, so I use a torque wrench. My bad!

Most are designed to install on the intake/turbo piping. They're for the release of pressure surges to keep the turbo safe. Most stock bovs are not capable of raised boost which is why many buy aftermarket ones.

The VECI decal map under your hodd will show you EXACTLY where your EGR valve is. You may need a magnifying glass. The valve can be removed and cleaned with Gum-out or foaming cleaner (amsoil). When you are done, re-install the valve. While you are getting ambitious, clean your throttle body and plate, and the IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE. A dirty IAC is the most prominant reason for the EGR valve to clog up. Running Gum-out through your intake system will clean out your O2 sensors, as well. Good luck!!
Q:I am wondering if i can put a blow off Valve on my Crossfire and still get the same sound as if it had a turbo. the car is stock and i just got it so i do not know if it does have a turbo already. Can anyone help me with this.
Doesn't have a turbo regardless of whether it's the 4 cylinder or v6 engine. EDIT: Blow off valves work by purging boost pressure (from the turbo) from the intake piping before the throttle body. Meaning, without a turbocharger there is no build up of pressure prior to the throttle and hence without a turbo a blow off valve is functionless (and it WILL NOT make a noise).
