Q:I cut the crochet fabric on this sweater; I worked soooooooo hard in it, and now it is ruined, could I fix it possibly?????????????????
You will have to go up and make sure your vent fan is not rusted if it is oil it or get a new oneYou will also need to remove the insulation from the soffit ventsI don't use a fan I have a ridge vet and soffit vents this provides good air flow.
Q:I like sweets and carbs and sodas alotDoes anyone know how I can cut back on what I est or change my eating habitsAlso I need to lose belly fat how do I do itEveryone says to go to the gym but our gym memberships around here are way to expensiveDoes anyone have any home work out I deas?
I wouldn't go the puppy pad route personallyIt just teaches them it's OK to go insideA routine is the easiest way to get them trainedPick the puppy up and take them outside once an hourReward praise HEAVILYIf they don't go bring them back out the next hourYou'll want to take them out after meals and after waking up We had ours sleep in bed with us so she'd wake us up in the middle of the nightMakes for sleepless nights but she trained a LOT faster that way Stay on the schedule as much as you canIf you find an hour is too long cut it back to 45 minutes or whatever seem to workConsistency is the key here until the puppy is trained, never let him out of your sight while you are homeThe very instant he starts to pee or poop inside, interrupt him in a normal tone of voice (no hollering), pick him up and carry him outsidePraise praise praise when he potties outsideGiving him a treat is a great ideaIf you see him sniffing around like he is looking for a place, go ahead and take him outside When you can't be with him because no one is home or everyone is asleep, keep him cratedThe crate shoudl be very smallJust large enough for him to stand up and turn around inYou can get him a normal size crate but make it smaller by putting a divider in itHe will try his best not to pee or poop in his sleeping areaPut the crate in your bedroom so he will be with you at night.
Q:what fabric is native american clothes made out of?
Traditionally our woven textiles were made from various plant fibersA few of the fibers were from the nettles, ceder, cattails and also various grassesWe also used the hides and fur of animals depending on the attributesFor example rabbit fur was used for blankets and insulationWolf fur was used for trim around hoodsMoose and dear hides were used for clothing and footwearWool was one of the first fabrics used because of the blankets that were tradedThen calico became popularSatin and ribbons were used from the 19th centuryToday we use all modern textiles.
Q:whats wrong?!?! ughh its so frustrating to eat and not have it come outi feel like im carrying around 5 lbs of food in my stomach right now! there are some weeks where i poop fine but others i just can never seem to goi eat fiber and drink lots of waterwhat else do i need?
Try cherries or cherry juiceCherries are a natural laxativeAlso, prunes (dried plums) are an excellent natural laxativeThere are different types of fiberMake sure you are getting the right type of fiber as you need both water soluble and insoluble for good intestinal healthWater-soluble fiber dissolves in water and is found in oat bran, legumes, psyllium, nuts, beans, pectins, and various fruits and vegetablesIt forms a bulky gel in the intestine that regulates the flow of waste materials through the digestive tractInsoluble fiber cannot be dissolved in water, meaning that our bodies cannot digest itThis type of fiber includes the undissolvable parts of plant walls and is found in greatest amounts in cereals, brans, and vegetablesThe primary function of insoluble fiber is to collect water that increases stool bulk in the large intestineThis promotes bowel movement, and as the bulk works through the intestine, it scours the intestinal walls of waste matter, reducing the risk of colon-related problems.
Q:I'm on a high in fiber diet for health and weight loss reasonsMy mother passed away from cancer and she was a diabetic, high blood pressure, 6 heart attacks.so this kicked my butt into actionI'm almost 40 and weigh about 190 lbsI should workout more than I do, but on the food side 90% of the time I'm on target with good habitsI need to know numbers with advice on fibers, fats, cal.s, carbsETCthen on e other hand with the exercisePlus I'd like to do the same for my 11 yrolds son, please help me out.thanks!
Humbuckers are groupies who have given so many hummers that they are now buck-toothed.
Q:Hi, I was shopping for a new knitting project last week, and I found a pattern that I liked, but it called for lace weight yarn, which the store I was in did not haveThe owner suggested I could use sock weight yarn instead, so I went ahead and picked out some beautiful yarn, came home and knitted a swatch, my gauge was correct on the recommended needle sizeThough now that I have thought about it a bit, is this going to work? I trusted the store owner, she has 25 years of experience and gives classes, but now that I have thought about it, I don't think that you are supposed to change yarn weightsHelp!
The store owner won't lead you wrongShe knows the effort put into knitting a piece and she wants to make sure you are a happy customer who will return again and againIf your gauge is correct it should be okDepending on the size of your swatch you might want to knit a larger swatch to make sure the yarn drapes similarly to the yarn originally called for in the patternMost of the time I too can't find the yarn called for in a pattern or decide it is too expensive and substitute a similar yarn with good results as long as the fiber is similar to what is recommended in the patternWool blends and acrylic will respond in a similar way but substituting cotton for wool will not respond the same way.
Q:considered to be maintenance or an improvement?
Don't forget to pack your Glock 9 mm.
Q:okay well you know how everyone says you cant lose weight by fasting? what if you fast and work outdoesnt working out and exercising burn calories?
You can fast and lose weight by exercisingMost people can't make themselves do it for more than a few days and when they do bad things start happening both physically and mentally Your body burns calories and if you work with no food at all you will lose weightSome people say your body will shut down metabolism but that's not really truePeople in concentration camps during the Holocaust were forced to work with little or no food and we've all seen pictures of how many were no more than skin and bonesThose people were severely damaged and I doubt they could have done that to themselvesThere are many people that die from self starvationIf that's not what you want then don't fast and work out for long periods of timeIf you do it for a couple of days you'll just rebound and gain and your pain and suffering will have been wastedIt's better to know how many calories you can eat per day and how many calories you burn working out and create a calorie deficit that way in order to lose weightI enjoy food more when I work out hard because I know I've earned it.
Q:im looking for the most energy saving insulation
Spray foam is undoubtedly the best but it costs 4x as much as retail fiberglass for any situation What are you trying to fill? A lot depends on the cavity If you have an attic to fill with unlimited amounts of insulation, then buy blown-in celluloseIt is the least expensive and works great if applied thickly If your wall cavity is 3.5 inches deep then you can fit r-13 or r-15 fiberglass batt insulationR-15 is expensiveBe warned the average installer of batt insulation will make a lot of small mistakesOr you can do a wet install cellulose which has better coverage and gives about r-13 If your wall cavity is 5.5 inches deep then you can get R-21 which is also expensive or squeeze in an r-19 batt, which will make it r-18 as r-19 requires 6.25 inches deepAgain a wet cellulose install would guarantee a better coverage than fiberglass batt with similar r value The problems with fiberglass batt is either you have perfect cavities to install them into or they turn awkward quickThey are difficult to do fancy cuts to avoid obstaclesCutting spots for wires, electrical boxes, etc is time consumingNarrowing batts to fit odd sized cavities is just down right tediousSo most installer( and I mean most) like to take shortcuts that the average person won't spot that lessens the value of the insulation.
