Q:I am thinking about driving my wife out into an unpopulated area and getting her to run beside the car as I drive down the road at a slow speed. Will that help with her weight problem. I mean, I know it will take time but if I get her to run a few miles a day I think it should work. I would also have lots of water in the front seat of the car to hand her as she needs it. thanks
The fiberglass insulation will have better insulating qualities than the foam if properly installed with the proper elbow and tee fittings. It is more difficult to install though. If you opt for an easier installation, go with the brand called armaflex , as it has a special glue so you can put it all together and since it adheres to itself, you'll have no trouble patching any boo-boos. The secret to a good insulation job is to have no gaps anywhere in the insulation. Armaflex also comes in extra thick walls for maximum protection.
Q:Will the alarm still go off
7018 isn't well suited for vertical-down root passes, due to it's heavy, sluggish, fast-freezing slag. The thick heavy slag tend to cause inclusions when trying to fill an open root gap on pipe. It's traditional to use 601/6011 for the root pass, because it performs far better for open roots, 7018 is used for the filler passes. It's also traditional to use TIG for the root which generally produces far better root quality than stick welding. the root pass is critical because the greatest stress is on the inside of the pipe. If welding is absolutely your only option the best quality will be had by TIG welding the root, instead of 6010/6011. I would strongly recommed TIG roots. It is quite difficult to get a consistent root pass on small pipes. With pipe welding quality prep work and accurate fit-up are extremely important. Furthermore for small pipes, using screw-on fittings will likely save you labor in the long run. Not to mention being probably the more reliable option. Using a pipe vice and a pipe threading tool takes less time and skill than properly done fitting and welding. You might also consider brazing with slip-on joints. Brazing is faster, easier, and generally less prone to leaks than welding.
Q:I've a dishwashing job at a restaurant, I don't like to wear those annoying rubber gloves that make my hands sweat. Is it really necessary to wear gloves?
If you use 1 1/4 pipe schedule 40 and keep it under 48 you should be able to hang about 50 or so pounds on the pipe. If you go past that, it will sag pretty badly. Be sure to draw out what you want to build so you get an accurate idea of what types of fittings you will need. And above all, dry fit it first to make sure it works before you start gluing it together.
Q:Garage door lock stuck in locked position?
Are the pipes busting around the fittings and what kinda pipes are they?. Sounds like their is to much water pressure.
Q:Need information that can be presented to the government on where road studs have actually reduced road crashes. Actual statistics on various roads will help. Also reduced number of road crash victims admitted to hospitals at night as a direct result of use of road studs will be valuable.
As others have mentioned it is not just about scratcvhes - as much as dents. An elephant can wark over a wooden floor and NOT damage it. A ten stone girl in stilletos can make puncture marks in the wood. Felt pads, plasters - may all stop the scratches, but they will NOT stop a hefty dent appearing wherever she stands. If she slips and lands heavy on thje bonnet, you will have a HEFTY dent as well as the little ones. A clear cover on the car is an interesitng idea BUT the cover itself will only have to slip a TINY amount when supporting her weight to cause scratches itself. The good news is that black IS the easiest colour of all to repair with touch up paint! If you support the bonnet from underneath as has been suggested already and have her wear something more like a slipper with a fake heel attached. If she manages to keep her balance on her tiptoes, the heel might look fairly realistic - make it from cardboard and felt etc. Otherwise could you do some cut-away shots so that you see the car, and her, then her, laying over the bonnet, then cut back to her dancing on the car - but not showing her below the knee - as that would give away the fact that she is supported by a PADDED plank of wood going from one side of the wing to the other - so most of the load on the wings through HEAVY padding. Then finally, ULTRA close up of her feet in the shoes dancing on a bit of shiny black metal - which just happens NOT to be your mums car. Not an easy scene to make work but do-able at a push perhaps - and with ne real risk to your mums car. Remember though that black paint jobs ARE the easiest to touch up if something goes wrong - and a small bottle of liquid black touch up paint will cost you perhaps ?2 / $4 and may just save your bacon :) Mark
Q:is sleeping with a heating blanket every night save?
1.) probably wake them up anyways 2.) wake them up 3.) DAMMIT GET UP!!!!
Q:PT3/4 what is the diameter of the pipe joint?
1. thread sealed pipe threads, without padding or sealing, can prevent leakage. The pipe thread with screw thread has two connecting forms: cylindrical internal thread and tapered outer thread, tapered inner thread and tapered outer thread. When the pressure is below 5 * 105Pa, the former connection is close enough, and the latter connection is usually used only at high temperature and high pressure.
Q:Like a rose, maybe, a blue rose with an electric buzz around it's stamen or maybe a pauper's wares; blanket, box, and an empty wire hanger but then you look closer and see absolutely nothing at all you see no reason and you skip the riddle and funnel the visual out and away and the drenched clicking of an eternal clock passes the shadow slowly until your eye is peeled from your skull and your fire is doused before the shadow takes shape.
Some smoke detectors are more sensitive then others even when they are from the same manufacture. Be sure to have a vent over anything that you are frying or have the smoke detector changed.
Q:Have you ever had a day where you view everyone else as dogs and you are the fire hydrant?
Surge protectors help protect electrical equipment.
Q:why are lightning rods pointed?
Yes. But you need a flux capacitor to capture the 1.21 GW, or your time circuits won't work properly.
