- Q:Over the weekend I put a reddish packet down on my NEW, WHITE bathroom sink. When I went to pick the packet up I saw it had left a PINK STAIN about the size of a half dollar on my new sink (I *think* the sink is porcelain but I'm not positive. It is *not* marble or any other stone. It is - I believe - basic bathroom sink material). Anyway, I used some Comet bathroom cleaner. Did nothing. I then tried bleach (big mistake! I think it actually now gave the stain a yellowish hue). I have not tried anything else.If you have any advice, I'd appreciate it.Thank you!

- Q:Very weird question here. I am petsitting for a family with several cats and dogs. The youngest kitten is living in a bathroom, currently (it is the only small, enclosed, safe place for him to stay until the family returns). Unfortunately, despite his having a clean litterbox, he is constantly pooping in the sink, which is unpleasant for me to deal with--obviously! How can I discourage him from doing this without really disciplining or hurting him in any way? I can't easily put something over the sink that he couldn't pull down and hurt himself with.
- Um.. He shouldn't be living in a bathroom.. That might be the problem.. But if you are strictly told to keep him in there or something like that then I guess keep him in >_<.. But after he goes in it.. clean it out really good and get some disinfecting stuff.. also you might should buy or try and find a pet odor eliminator and that will get rid of the smell and the habit probably. Also you should keep a close eye on him and when he jumps on the counter or the sink, firmly say NO and pick him up and put him in his litterbox. Then pick up his paw and push the litter around with his paw. This always works when training cats to use the litter box. about 99% of the time it works. If the litterbox hasn't been cleaned (like washed out with soap and water) at least once a month.. you should do that. Just dump the litter out and fill it halfway with soap and water.. then maybe if its dirty enough, scrub it with a sponge or something. Then wait for it to dry and put it back in the bathroom and fill it with litter of course. Also if it smells try sprinkling two spoonfuls of baking soda on the litter. You might have to put something else for the cat to go to the restroom in while you are cleaning it. Or make sure the cat has just gone before cleaning it out. - Q:I want to buy a new bathroom sink, but have no clue what to get. I have a white round, not square sink with a silver faucet. I want a standard white round sink. Do sinks come with all the screws and everything to install? Also, do sinks come with the faucet handles or do you have to buy those seperately? Do sinks already have the holes for where the faucet goes? Any info helpful.
- Most sink tops are held in place on the base cabinet using caulk and the plumbing. The holes are pre-drilled for the faucet which is sold separately.

- Q:The bathroom sink has a single spout, so we would only connect the cold water hose. The unit we are moving to does not have laundry taps, hence this question. If need be we can drain the washing machine into buckets. Does anyone know if it is safe to connect the washing machine to bathroom taps?
- You'll need to buy new taps, you can buy a combo one that has the threaded section for attaching the washer hose to and a standard tap that you can still use for washing your hands in the sink. Check out your local hardware or plumbing suppliers. Drain the machine into the bathtub or run the hose down the floor drain, the cover should be able to be removed for this. Buckets would be a pain, you would have to be constantly on hand to prevent any flooding.
- Q:Can the bathroom of the bathroom be able to wash clothes directly? Feeling pretty dirty, but modern bathroom decoration, especially small bathrooms are not considered to put the wash basin area ah?

- If you live in the UK then bathrooms usually have water supplied by a tank hot from the tank in your airing cupboard which is mains fed, cold is usually supplied by a tank some times in the loft which can become contaminated although this is mains fed there is a loose lid which could become dislodged I have heard of dead birds in cold water tanks. Worst case scenario is that your tank has been contaminated on purpose. Speak to your management company or health department and explain the problem, in the meantime use bottled water to brush your teeth and ask other residents if they have a similar problem
