Q:Very weird question here. I am petsitting for a family with several cats and dogs. The youngest kitten is living in a bathroom, currently (it is the only small, enclosed, safe place for him to stay until the family returns). Unfortunately, despite his having a clean litterbox, he is constantly pooping in the sink, which is unpleasant for me to deal with--obviously! How can I discourage him from doing this without really disciplining or hurting him in any way? I can't easily put something over the sink that he couldn't pull down and hurt himself with.
My cat does this everytime he is upset, especially when we have visitors come to stay with us. Obviously the kitten is upset and is showing you in the only way he can- by not using his kitty box. There isn't really any way to stop this until his people come back home. Then he will most likely stop his naughty bathroom display. However, maybe you could help. Unless this is against the homeowner's rule, maybe let the cat out of the bathroom for a little bit while you're there and can keep an eye on him. This might relieve his anxiety a bit. Or possibly put the litter box in/on the sink. Then when he goes to use the sink, his box will be there instead.
Q:how d i caulk around the sink it seems that im mentally challenged at caulking. i do all of the house repairs with ease just not this. its a circular sink and the old stuff failed after 10 years. i bought GE 3 hour silicone shower caulking to do it with the caulking gun. when i start applying it it looks good and every thing then i go to wipe it then it spreads onto the counter top and sides of the sink. then when im trying to clean it up with a rag it picks the caulking up fine but then takes out allot of the stuff i just put around the sink and looks un even. then by the time i clean one part it has started to dry then i go wipe the other part and it goes into balls. honestly i dont know how to do it. any help would be great.
Yeah, I am with you, poster. Caulking and mudding walls just seems beyond me. I have had some success by wetting my finger and running it along the seam after caulking, taking plenty of breaks to wipe of the excess and re-wet the finger. Good luck.
Q:Is it normal for my cat to enjoy laying in the bathroom sink? I am worried because she is still so tiny i'm afriad she might hurt herself from getting up there or even getting down. She's already fell in the toliet once (which was kinda funny)
its because its kool perfectly norm
Q:Home wash basin of the faucet no water, want to repair, is to find someone to repair it?
If it is new to buy, directly back to the supplier to do after-sales maintenance on it;
Q:Toilet wash basin into the water pipe to stay high
According to the master's height adjustment, from the ground to the top edge of the basin 80cm to 85cm or so
Q:What about Klein Basin? Is it okay?
Kohler one of the top ten brands of high quality with the use of comfort are quite good
Q:I removed the caulking around the sink, but the sink is still attached. Do they use some sort oof glue there? How do you get it out? Thanks.
generally, aside from pedestal type or wall-mounted sinks, there are two types of sinks: undermount or drop-in. First, determine which type you have. Your question states you removed the caulking around the sink. If the caulking was on top of the counter, you have the drop-in type sink. If you removed caulking from the underside of the sink, it's an undermount sink. Second, have all supply and drain connections been removed? Make sure the supply valves are closed and lines disconnected. The drain too. Right above the trap is fine. (that U-shaped piece) Look underneath around the bottom of the basin where it meets the countertop. Sometimes there will be up to four clips which hold the sink down onto the countertop. Loosen these with a screwdriver or wrench and remove them, the sink should loosen and lifting it out should be a breeze. if you find no screws or bolts holding it down, I would then guess that the installer used silicone or a similar type sealant or adhesive. In this case use the thinnest paint scraper or razor blade or similar thin sturdy flat tool and try slipping it between the lip of the sink and the counter. I 've used a guitar string wrapped around two fist sized pieces of pipe in garrotte-type fashion which actually worked very well. Just be very careful! Start on one area and try to gain a foothold so to speak. Then continue working your way around. Eventually, she'll break loose. Good luck, be safe and never hire that installer again.
Q:Our house was built in the 1950's. I am almost 100% sure that the sink in the bathroom is original to the house. It is off white with gold marbled in. Pretty sure it is not porcelin. Feels almost plastic. It is a sink/counter, one piece unit. I don't have the $$ to go buy a new one, but this one is an eye sore. Help!
Here is the cheapest and best way I can think of. Lighly sand the surface with 110 grit sandpaper. Paint it. Put about 3 coats of polyurethane on. NOTE: This is only temporary fix. When you can replace the sink.
Q:How to choose a good basin ah? How about the musicians of the family?
Good table to see glazed, and the level of wear resistance. Like the musicians of the pot is made of glazed very good. Very smooth texture is better, that glaze is very thick.
Q:The foam in the washing machine comes out of the basin
You said the semi-automatic washing machine is not a double barrel washing machine? If you are a double-barrel washing machine, of course, do not wash your clothes in the basin, you can put the clothes in the washing bucket, add water into the rinse after 5 minutes, drain, and then get the clothes dehydration dehydration, repeat twice Yes.
