- Q:And my other drive has the only analog audio cable on my motherboard hooked up to it, and i know i need to plug in one more cable, because windows wont start up the way i set it up and idk what needs to go into which port.
- Are your drives IDE, SCSI or SATA? If they are IDE, are the jumpers set correctly for master/slave or cable select?
- Q:what is the resistance of overhead power cables?
- Search for resistances per mile aerial use' and you will find some info from Power systems stability handbook By Anthony J. Pansini
- Q:I have a Netgear router and just now when I tried to plug the power cable back into the back of it, it would fit. I look more closely and it seems that the metal end of the power cable may be slightly bent. But I'm still confused because it's bent at the end of the metal, and even though the very tip of it isn't bent, that part still won't even slide into place a little. Could anyone help me in resolving this issue?
- If it is the correct adapter for the router and it fitted before, gently force it and it will comfortably fit eventually. There is probably a reason it doesn't fit now (it has been pulled out with some force) so I would suggest getting a new power adapter for it if the above does not work
- Q:i just want to select the power cable but i m having some confusion that when we select single core power cable we take current rating of that conductor but if we say 3-core cable has 200A capacity then it means that each core has this capacity or it is the the capacity of overall 3-cores
- Current ratings for conductors are based on several factors including conductor type (Copper, Aluminum, other), insulation material (thermoplastic, rubber, asbestos composition), ambient temperature, length, exposure to weather, and numerous other factors stipulated by the NEC or local Code. The ratings are usually given for a single conductor in free air. Mulitiple current carrying conductors which share a conduit, raceway, or any other enclosure must be derated appropriately. See the source below for Code reference and rules of thumb.
- Q:so I bought a new power supply to go with my new case and motherboard, and when I recived the new power supply it didn't have a power cable That Plugs into the wall, can I use the one from my old power supply or will I have to get a new one? Cause I tried using it and my pc didn't turn on, or is my power supply that I got possibly dead?
- every power supply I've gotten for years uses completely standard, detachable power cords. I've never yet seen one that will not use the same cords as all the others. Use the one from the old supply
- Q:I just moved to the UK, and I have a US xbox 360 slim, I still have the power brick and everything. My friend here has a power cable that will fit the US power brick (it is from his UK xbox). Can I plug in the UK cable to the US power brick then plug it like I normally would into my 360? Or will that fry the power adapter or xbox? Thanks!!
- Ya you can plug it in. It should be fine b/c its all emitting the same amount of power. I think. lol
- Q:my father took away my cable so i can play the game but i just want to take the game out of it
- You can risk breaking your xbox or you could also pick any random house on your street and knock at the door and ask to plug your xbox with their cable to remove the disc. Every household owns an xbox Or just stop by a friends house with your xbox
- Q:Did not find the relevant norms. Fiber optic cable should not be affected by interference, electric corrosion this piece without taking into account? More
- My computer --- right-click properties. Device Manager. Look at the USB device is not there or the number. Have to reinstall the system. Also make sure your motherboard USB interface is not good. I said the interface is plug USE jumper of the root.
- Q:The cylinder is in the power cable about 2 inches from the connection to the laptop and is about one half inch diameter by one inch long. Does it serve an electronic function or is it just a mechanical assist device?
- It's called a choke. It's used to filter out unwanted radio interference.
- Q:I am usng a ripspeed R2100 Amp JMB 1000W Sub speaker the amp has 2 25amp fuses attatched, but I do not know what fuse to use in the main audio power cable, I have been upto 40 amp it blew that, I dont know if I maybe have wire something wrong, can anyone help, thanks
- G man and timothy are the only ones who are right. The others do not understand about fuses. The current rating is an absolue so an 8amp fuse will blow when 9 amps goes through it. The voltage is just an indication of the possible use, but it just does not matter in this range. At all. SO sorry your husband is right and it would work fine and give exactly the same protection as the original. You are not changing the specification in any way that matters. If you want the physics, heat produced in a wire equals I (current) squared x R (resistance) x time (seconds) Joules. No voltage element in that equation. SO if the current flowing generates more heat than can radiate away from the fuse wire, it will get hotter until it melts - when the fuse has blown.
