- Water based cement is different because you can clean it up like really fast if you have soemthing to do so... Once it dries completely you can't clean it up with water anymore. And glue doesn't clean up that way...plus water based cement can give you better results =) hope this helps

- You must love your pets very much to make them a nice place for burial. How do you feel about painting the tomb? If you paint the white cement tomb you will not smell any odor and it should stop the erosion of the cement. A good paint to try is Kilz. They have a line of paints and primers that offer superior coverage, mildew resistance and tough stain and odor blocking. I am sorry for your loss. I hope this helps.

We were thinking about putting cement board in order to make the floor flat.We were thinking that it would be a better option as oppose to laying the flooring on the wood. Would it be a good idea to lay down cement board?Should we just lay the vinyl on the wood?
- I would not use cement board or any boards at all. If the floor is not flat then attaching boards on top of it will not make it flat. Professionals use floor-leveling compound that is basically a thin cement that is poured on the floor to fill in any and all voids that will show through vinyl. I am assuming the tile that you are using will not need to be glued down and is the kind that simply has adhesive that attaches one tile to the next and allows the entire floor to float. If the tiles are square ones that have adhesive on the back that adheres to the floor, then my recomendation is to just paint the floor and skip the vinyl since those tiles never hold up and look good very long. The vinyl that lays in strips and adheres to the previous strip is a good, waterproof product. Cementboard is not waterproof and the uneven surface will not lend itself very good for your application.

- Standard cement bags come in 60lb. and 90lb. bags. If you are trying to figure out how much you'll need for a project you gotta do some figurin'. I guess thats what your asking. Here's a tip: When you got it figured out, you'll probably need about 20% more. Don't know why, Murphy's law I guess. It's easyer to return what you don't use than to run to the store and mix up some more. Anyway's look at the bag and it will tell you the volume. get your dementions you need and bring a calculator and pencil to the store, I'm sure you'll figure it out.
