Introduction:

Tower Crane is a machinery used for vertical lifting and horizontal delivering of building materials and any other heavy items during construction process. It can lift and lay down, horizontally shift, and rotate, so it has big working range. The whole body can be fixed or movable.

Features:

1. A universal model, suitable for various construction projects and working conditions.

2. Adopt standard section hydraulic lifting and connecting, can adjust crane height according to height of the building

without affecting the lifting capacity.

3. Use three-speed motor and mono-speed ratio decelerator, trolleying mechanism can provide two operation speeds: low speed for heavy and high speed for light load. Steady operation, stable braking and less shock when shifting.

4. With complete set of safety devices, with lifting height limiter, dolly range-change limiter, moment limiter, weight

limiter, circumgyrating limiter and so on.

5. Scientific layout, beautiful appearance design. The operator's room is set independently on one side, with good vision field.

Q:What are the lifting moment requirements for tower cranes?
1. Tower crane consists of three parts: metal structure, working mechanism and electrical system. The three main technical parameters are lifting moment, lifting weight and working speed. Lifting moment refers to the boom as the basic arm length maximum amplitude corresponding to the rated lifting weight of product, product or maximum weight with the corresponding inflection point.
Q:the cable of Crane I creates and angle of 30 degree angle from the horizontal and the cable of Crane II creates an angle of 45 degrees from the horizontal.-draw a figure that gives a visual representation of the problem-write a vector to represent the tension on the cable of Crane I-write a vector to represent the tension on the cable of Crane II-write a vector to represent the 20000 lb cargo container being lifted -calculate the tension on both cables. Justify your answer.....please help me!!! thank you!!!!:)
So I can't tell whether the cargo container is one ton (2000 lbs.) or ten tons (20,000 lbs.). For doing the problem, I'm using 2000 lbs., so you might have to multiply the answers by 10. Also, I'll use A and B for the cranes instead of I and II. (Vertical): A sin 30° + B sin 45° = 2000 == A + √2 B = 4000 (Horizontal): -A cos 30° + B cos 45° = 0 == -√3 A + √2 B = 0 Solve those equations simultaneously to get A = 4000/(1+√3) = 1464 lbs. and B = √(3/2) A = 1793 lbs. (Answers) The vectors are: A = 1464 (-i cos 30° + j sin 30° = -1268i + 732j (Answer) B = 1793 (i cos 45°i + j sin 45°) = 1268i + 1268j (Answer)
Q:what are The performance parameters of tower cranes?
The technical performance of tower crane is expressed in a variety of parameters, the main parameters include the range, starting weight, lifting torque, free height, maximum heightand so on; its general parameters are: a variety of speed, structure, weight, size, tail size and gauge wheelbase, etc.
Q:Hello, i am goin in on Dec 5 to write the millwright C of Q for the 3rd time. On the test there was a question that went something like this The crane is rated 40Ton, with a boom lenght of 40ft and at an angle of 70 deg. The jib is 8ft long on a 10 deg angle. What is the sefe working load. The numbers are not correct but that is how the question is phrased. Please help me with the formula. I cannot find it anywhere.
Normally you would get a chart for that crane and you look up the SWL at the extension and angle you would want to use, but you can calculate this too. Basic formula; mass*distance = newmass*newdistance, in the case you have described you have to take into account that the distance is not the load arm as it is not at a right angle to the force the mass has and therefore you would have to work that out via trigonometry. Any clearer?
Q:Do the characters develop a sense of brotherhood. If so will it be temporary or permanent
They absolutely do - as anyone who has ever tried to row a boat with another person can understand. The key here is the correspondent who is described as someone who has developed a distrust for people. He has seen a lot of things and as a reporter, he has kind of trained himself to view them impartially and not become involved. Crane discusses that when he talks about the correspondent seeing the dead soldier in Algiers. However, now his basic survival depends on him becoming involved with people. He has to take orders from the captain. He has to take turns rowing with the oilman. Eventually when the boat becomes too heavy, they take turns holding on from the water. It's basic survival now and the only way it works is by them developing a brotherhood and working as a team. I dont think it will be permenent - the correspondent will go his own way - back to reporting. However I think that he will take with him a new view of people - an empathy which will make him a better correspondent. Pax - C.
Q:What are the basic parameters of a tower crane?
The basic parameters of a tower crane include the length of the crane itself, the weight of the crane as well as the weight of the counterweight! Tower crane lifting mechanism; slewing mechanism; luffing mechanism; motor power;...
Q:Last week, I decided to make 1000 paper cranes as a new project. I am very craft- oriented, and have made numerous knitted scarfs, crocheted blankets (still in the works), and cross stitch patterns for family members. I have made 2 large cross stitch patterns, one for my grandma (took me 2 years to do) and one for my dad (2 months). My mom's birthday is coming up, and I was wondering if I should give her 1000 paper cranes as a present? I haven't yet given her anything that I made, and I feel bad about it. I don't have enough time to cross stitch a pattern or anything, and I can easily make 1000 by December. Would it be a sentimental present? Should I do it? Would she like it? If not, what should I get her? I want it to be something that I made so that it will be personal.
Sell them or give them to someone who is going to get married. My nephew gave paper cranes to every guest who came to their wedding. Each guest was to write a line of advice or blessing on their crane. Then the cranes were hung on strings with little clips at the reception. It was beautiful! Folding a crane takes time, patience and understanding. These same qualities are vital for a marriage to last. This is why the symbolism of 1,000 hand-folded cranes decorating a wedding is so powerful.
Q:Old used 200 t crawler crane is available for purchase. What are the guidelines/ thumb rules for assessing its cost ?
Supply vs demand Extreme examples: If the crane is no longer needed anywhere, the cost will be 0; no demand. If the crane still has a unique useable function and there is only one available, it's immediate cost will be very high; no supply. So, assuming that the cranes supply/demand is somewhere in the middle, the methodology for assessing it's cost would be to evaluate the following: * Where is it located with respect to where it is needed? (place value) * How quickly do I need it, and how quickly can I get the crane? (time value) * What alternative solutions are available? * How much do other similar cranes cost? * etc Hope this helps!
Q:I currently have 1999 origami paper cranes. And I haven't made my 2000th yet because I don't know what to wish for :3So I wanna know...Do you have to make your wish right on the 1000th one? Or can you make the 1000th one and save it until you think of something good to wish for.I'm serious. :3
wait, you folded 1999 paper cranes and you still didn't have enough time to come up with a wish? I recommend that you wish to become more decisive...
Q:why do siberian crane migrate in india?
The Siberian Cranes nest in western Siberia . During Winter season in Siberia , they migrate to India which is their wintering ground. The migration route stretches for 4000 miles. Their resting place at the time of migration is the Lake Ab-i-Estada in Afghanistan. The Kaladeo Ghana National Park or the Bharatpur National Park has been declared a world heritage site because the Siberian Crane traverses nearly half of the globe to reach it. The Siberian Crane is presently an endangered species. Larger numbers of birds have been hunted down over the years especially when they undertake the perilous journeys across the Himalayas to reach the wet land. They are shot down in Pakistan to be gifted to friends and relatives. This has led to a severe decline in the number of Siberian Cranes in the world. The immediate need of the hour is to provide safety to the Siberian cranes along their migration route. This popular visitor has not been seen in the last two years in India. The last pair of Siberian Cranes which had made the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary their seasonal home in the year 2002 was not seen in the year 2003. Their absence is indeed painful and one of the aims of the Crane foundation is to bring back the Siberian Crane to India.
