They don't. Independant testing in the UK showed that only if you kept the phone to your ear 24/7 would you get the slightest problem.
Q:i want to have a mobile phone in yahoo messenger

Yahoo! supports SMS for mobile devices in the following countries by the carriers indicated below. The messaging short codes are also listed for each carrier. Canada: FIDO and ROGERS - 92466000, TELUS - 92466 India: AIRCEL, AIRTEL, IDEA, LOOP MOBILE, MTNL, RELIANCE CDMA, RELIANCE GSM, SPICE, TATA, and VODAFONE - 25242 Indonesia: BAKRIE, EXCELCOM, and MOBILE8 - 9246, HUTCH3 - 92466, INDOSAT - 946, TELKOMSEL - 4246, SMART - 946 Kuwait: WATANIYA - 1411 Malaysia: CELCOM - 22235, DIGI - 32235, MAXIS - 32235 Pakistan: MOBILINK - 171 Philippines: GLOBE - 2258, Sun Cellular - 2466, SMART - 62580 Thailand: AIS - 4508040, DTAC - 1924668 United States: ALLTEL, ATT, NEXTEL (including Sprint), SPRINT, T-MOBILE, US CELLULAR, VERIZON, and VIRGIN - 92466 Vietnam: EVN, HTMOBILE, MOBIFONE, S-FONE, VIETTEL, and VINAPHONE - 8269, GTEL - 8269 If your phone is not listed among these phones and the country you live in, they will NOT work through Yahoo Messenger.
Q:I just don't understand the methods of payment, plus its so expensive and I do not understand how everyone manages to afford a mobile phone ,just even making a few seconds they take of more than 50p off , Im on o2 I heard thats the cheapers but I was wondering what is cheap ?I know nothing on mobiles I one , and it was a very cheap one it cost 20.00 quid I was wondering which phone is good and which company makes low cost calls as possible
They are really expensive.try to use phone cardsor internet phones
Q:If you have good service around your house, What are the disadvantages to having solely a mobile phone?
Unlimited local calling, voice quality, no dropped calls, ADSL internet access, 911 service, etc. Land lines will boost your credit rating since they give you a address showing you have some stability. your cell phone will not work in a power outage and your land line will.
Q:I randomly got a free T Mobile Phone without any service attached to it yet. Unfortunately, all my friends have said that T Mobile provides absolutely no coverage where I live. Can I use Verizon, or even another service such as ATT on it?
Most likely you wouldn't be able to use it with Verizon if it is a T-Mobile phone. If it is an unlocked version you would be able to, but if it says T-Mobile at the top and the person you got it from didn't illegally unlock it then it will only work with T-Mobile service. Unlocked phones are usually very expensive so I feel like you probably don't have an unlocked version
Q:I really want a certain phone from T Mobile, but my plan is on Verizon and I cannot switch. is there any way to do this?
yes there are people that can hack the phone so you can use any type of service.
Q:I bought an Android phone from T-Mobile and now, i am no longer with T-Mobile. Will my phone work if i get a phone plan with another company like boostmbile, virgin mobile etc using my cell phone .? Or do I have to buy another?
You phone will probably only work with T-Mobile. You can unlock the SIM module and get service with ATT, but you won't get high-speed data. You can't use it with any other cell company in the US because they all use a different technology (CDMA) which is not compatible with T-Mobile hardware. You'll either have to stay with T-Moble, get GSM service from Straight Talk, or get another phone.
Q:Can you check ur children's text messages on their t-mobile phones?
poor kid lol. u can only check the message if you look in there phone. but they may be deleted. on the bill if you have detailed billing it will show you the number that was texted or that texted them :)
Q:Based on the responses to my question, I compiled this list of mobile phone prefix numbers. Is the list complete / accurate ?Mobile Prefix NumbersSmart ------------909910918919920921928929Globe --------------905906915916917926927Sun ---------------922923Thank you.
You did a pretty good job there. Only thing I can see is 912 for Smart missing from your list. Here's what Wikipedia has Express Telecom: 973, 974 Globe Telecom: 905, 906, 915, 916, 917, 926, 927 Next Mobile: 979 Smart Communications: 909, 910, 912, 918, 919, 920, 921, 928, 929 Sun Cellular: 922, 923 Phlippines Mobile phone area codes Mobile phone area codes are three digits long and always start with the number 9. Unlike fixed-line telephones, the long-distance telephone dialing format is always observed when using a mobile phone. Originally, there were only three area codes for mobile phones: 917 for Globe Telecom, 918 for Smart Communications and 973 for Express Telecom, the three existing mobile companies at the time. As service grew rapidly throughout the 1990s and even until today, new codes have been added to fulfill demand as existing codes have since been exhausted. Codes added usually come after the immediate last code exhausted, although this may not be the case when the next code is already in use. Areas codes are grouped by provider with no single contiguous block of codes for a single provider. These companies and their respective area codes are listed above.
