Q:what is cold press technique to produce shea butter
Cold press is a processing technique, shea butter doesn't grow naturally in the wild in its processed form. From Wikipedia: Cold pressed or Cold extraction means that the oil was not heated over a certain temperature (usually 80 °F (27 °C)) during processing, thus retaining more nutrients and undergoing less degradation.[29]

Q:Ok I was at a party last night and two psychos crashed in punching my friends and then chasing me into the living room. They cornered me and i was terrified so I picked up a small coffee table to use as a weapon but i was too scared to hit them. One bloke punched me and took the table off me (smashing me over the head with it twice) Luckily I took it well and managed to get away to get help..The guy lives in my area and im quite scared about pressing charges because he might want revenge. Should I do it? please help
yes, you were assaulted, you could have been killed, if you let this guy go, he will do it again, maybe not to you but some other innocent person who may not be so lucky, do the right thing and take him down.
Q:Hey,So recently hit a Bench Press plateau (Dumbbel) and I was wondering if this routine would help me break it:Old Regime:Dumbbell Press (steady build up in weight until fatigue - done LOTS of time 6-8 sets)Inclines (2-3 sets)Flys (2-3 sets)New Regime:Dumbbell Press (3 sets, one warm up, second a drop set - higher weight, third a high set)Declines (5 sets)Flys (4 sets)Maybe dropping a set in declines and flys for Push-Ups.So do you think this new routine will break my plateau and if so, how long before I start seeing more results (5-6 weeks perhaps?)
generally speaking force some new adaption through accessory work - Joe's advice is decent but I will add the concept of adjusting the load by adjusting frequency. Consider a 5x5 linear progression on a barbell bench press for example - you can use this as an accessory still - but it will allow you to shift a heavier weight rather than go for the endurance/hypetrophy training of multiple sets of 8-10. It is generally acknowledged that 3 reps is for power (such as a power clean/olympic lifts) 5 is for strength training (like starting strength/ 5/3/1 / Stronglifts/texas method) and 8-12 is body builder/hypertrophy range. I like to ensure when I plateu that I consider all of these rep ranges to provide a new stimulus to the area. Some fundamental things to also consider: Diet - particularly increasing calories, to a lesser extent, ensure you have enough carbs to burn in the session - this is generally an issue for low-carbers though, not the general population (who already eat too many carbs). I hate these people who say drink 7 litres of water every 2 minutes or you will die! (ok, exaggerating :) but you know the type...) but I would say drink a small cup with every meal/decent snack you have (assuming you have about 6) Rest - if you noticed your sleep going from a nice 8 hours to a meagre 5 + 1/2 then you need to consider going to bed earlier.
Q:The press played an important role in the downfall of the Nixon Administration. It is suggested that the press is the 4th branch of the goverment.
I really can not think of one. I really don't think much of the press.
Q:Now, is it me, or is this workout vaguely effective? Is this truly a genuine chest workout? I have always done flat bench dumbell presses and incline bench presses, and have just introduced the Decline into my workout. Despite this being a new workout for my body, I do not get sore, nor do I feel exhausted. Also, I can Decline about 15 pounds more than I can flat bench and Incline, despite having little experience with the workout. So tell me your opinion; is this a good workout? Is it a true chest exercise? How is it different than Incline/flat? Thanks guys,
push ups with your hands far apart from each other is the best chest work out. body resistant work outs produce more results if you do them right, is great for hand eye coordination and is cheaper (dont have to buy gym membership...weights...etc)
Q:If a victim or legal gaurdian of a victim doesnt press charges on someone for a crime of any kind i mean like car theft, buglary, rape, statutory rape, ect. can the state, federal or anyone else press charges and send them to jail or court?
Yes, depending on the crime.
Q:For my botany class, we're supposed to find 1 sample of plant each from 10-12 different families, press them, and mount them. They are due this Thursday (3 days from now).I had already pressed all the plants needed well ahead of time using the plant press with straps and newspaper. I waited about a week to for them to dry fully, and they were all nice and flat - but someone thought they were trash and threw them away! I should have hid them in my room, but obviously it's too late for that. Now I gathered more plants to replace them, but I don't think I have enough time to press them normally. I heard that I can place foil on top of each individual plant and use a clothes iron to flatten and dry them quickly. Will this work? It doesn't need to be a work of art, it just needs to be recognizable and intact for mounting. Thanks for any advice - it's much appreciated.
I remember once reading about somebody using a microwave to accelerate the drying time of pressed plants, however I've never tried it. You could try googling this technique. I would think that the heat might cause discoloration because plants are very sensitive to that sort of thing. In any case, I would think that using a big, heavy, book-the bigger the better-like a dictionary, would work better than a newspaper. I normally press my plants in big books like this, and then put a big stack of books on top of them, and stomp a few times on it for good measure. It presses the moisture out of them and the paper absorbs it. Some papers absorb better than others, for example laminated paper doesn't work well at all for this. The trick is to get the moisture out as quickly as possible. So you can try this, let it dry a few hours, maybe take it out and put it on a new dry page, to speed up the process a little. It's like wringing out a wet towel in a way. I don't know how thick the plants you are trying to press are, but the ones I press usually dry overnight.
Q:Hi I need a drill press that can handle like three inches of steel or at least one. I have no experience using a drill press. So If you can teach me how to use one that would be great. Also can you direct me to a link to where I can a drill press online and where to buy the bits for steel.
If you are serious about wanting a good drill press then you wouldn't be shopping at Harbor Freight Tools. Their tools are alright but they wouldn't last very long and I sure wouldn't expect them to be precise. Real good drill presses are made by Porter Cable or Rigid Tools. Those are high quality precise drill presses that are made to last a lifetime. But for just small jobs to do at home every now and then, I guess the Harbor Freight would do. I just wouldn't buy one, but I was brought up to purchase only high quality tools made in America and not imports.
