Cheap Robotic Vacuum Cleaner

Q:Be serious or be funny----it is up tp you.: It is actually for when you get under your couch or chair or something like that : Before I thought it was for when your power was out but then I realized you need a plug and electricity for a vacuum < XP

Q:How can I fix a vacuum that will not turn off. I vacuumed up a piece of clothing and pulled it out of the bottom, ever since the only way to turn the vacuum off is via the plug. Any suggestions?: The on/off switch is probably shot. You'd have to open the casing and replace the switch. You'll need a soldering iron and some basic soldering skills... the easy way is to unplug the vacuum and be thankful the switch failed in the on position rather than off.

Q:Saw some kid on tv the other day that collects vacuum cleaners. Couldn't believe it. I guess there is a club for vacuum collectors. I think this is the craziest thing I've ever heard. What about you?: As unique and crazy as that sounds, I've never herd of such an activity. If you ask me it sounds rather odd, and pointless. I personally don't like vacuums though, they tend to make a lot of noise pollution and I just can't stand that. But, I guess all people have different things they find to their likings, but this is one thing I'll never understand.

Q:Why are vacuum cleaners quiet in the TV adverts?: To fool you! If you acknowledge how loud they were, would you buy one?

Q:If you have first hand experience with these units, please advise. The idea sounds great; turn it on, leave the house, come home and the whole house is vacuumed, and the unit is back in its port being recharged. Do they do a good job? Do they miss areas like around the chair legs at the dining room table? Do you reccommend a particular brand?Please share your experience.: They are very slow, don't do a good job on carpets and you have to remove chairs and other obstacles in the room. We feel its easier to just do it yourself.

Q:What is the point of this, if you are more than likely not going to be vacuuming at night? I've heard people say that it is to quot;know if a specific area is cleanbut I mean seriously... I don't think you really need lights do you?? Just vacuum during the day perhaps? Works for me and I don't have a dirty house.: The more expensive vacuums will have lights. They add a $2 part and increase the price by $50.

Q:are Henry Hound vacuum cleaners any good for getting dog hairs out of carpets?: I do not know about the Henry Hound but the DYSON Animal is great. I think it could suck the paint off the wall if I left it there long enough.

Q:We have brand new beber carpet and our old vacuum cleaner doesn't seem to like it. We need a new one but was wondering what type to get. There is just two of us living in the home but we do have an inside dog that likes to shed so we need something that will get all his hair up. Any suggestions?: I've never heard of not using a beater brush on berber carpet. My best friend's dad sells carpet, and they had a bunch of berber in their house, and always used a beater brush vacuum. Talk to a the company that made your carpet and see what they recommend.

Q:Our old Dirt Devil is on its last leg and I was looking for a top-notch replacement vacuum cleaner for under $300.Any suggestions, opinions or reviews on vacuum cleaners that may be right for the money?: I would just look for another Dirt Devil. Cheap and reliable.
