- It's a question of priority and what matters most to you. I usually think of these things in terms of which option gives me the most utility. In other words what gives me the most functionality that I don't have now. So ... Why do you need a bed frame for the mattress? What does it do except raise the mattress up higher (and allow you to collect dust under it)? I slept on a mattress on the floor (with carpet under it) for years. It's the mattress that matters, not the bed frame. And if you really have a Tempurpedic you have a top end memory foam mattress. If you really want the mattress off the floor you can make a bed frame for about $75. That said, surround sound will only work for some programs (it's useful for movies though). Just don't waste money on a cheap system. It's better to buy quality ... even if you have to do it over time. For example, good speakers can last a lifetime. I suggest considering a quality HTIB or a used surround receiver and some quality speakers.
- Q:I need to purchase an Aero bed; what style is best? Is it better to buy one with a pump built in, or best to purchase one that does not have a built-in pump. I have read mixed reviews. How long do they last? Pros/cons and would you recommend? Thanks.
- ok first why the hell is a blow-up bed question doing in the hunting section? Now Aero beds are awesome to sleep on and made in a very different way compared to other beds. Now buy one with a pump already built-in. The downside to this buying a pump after the fact which sucks trust me and half the time you end up ordering the pump from aero anyway So spend a little more money and get the pump built it already or at least comes with a pump. If you take care of the bed it should last a long time. I bought the kids addition for my 3yr old daughter and she's had that bed for about 2 years now.

- I've just bought a new bed and yes, it is low and now I'm sitting in bed only a few feet off the ground. I'm guessing they're trendy, kind of Japanese influence, but they look great in situ as they aren't the focus of attention in your bedroom. If you want a higher bed go for the traditional divan, but I'm v happy with my low slung bed.

- well i would do what would makes me comfortable when going bed if you feel claustrophobic that's not comfortable is it? so i believe you should get a new bed its alright if you didnt keep your old bed long enough its bout your comfort and a healthy body and well rested mind needs a good sleep which you will get if you get a new nicer bed for christmas
- Q:box spring on bottom of bunk bed?I have a really comfortable full bed set but we are adopting children and the rooms would work out better if we got bunk beds so the two oldest could share the bedroom downstairs and not be woken by the baby during the night.We are looking at full/twin bunk beds. Could I use the full mattress and box springs on the bunk below? I wouldn't want to have to get rid of it and probably get something else less comfortable. The children are young, 5 and 6 so there wouldn't be a problem with not enough space between bunks for sitting up. For the top, we would get a bunk bed set up so as not to raise that bed any higher.
- I myself am looking into doing this. I have two full beds and want to turn them into a full bunk bed for my son. My husband is going to build the bunk bed set. So, I am going to measure everything to see if it will work. I agree with you, I don't want to throw out a nice bed and trade it for a mattress with no box springs. I don't know if your husband is handy, but I am thinking about having the bunk bed built so that the bottom is not a lot of room under the bed. That way the room can be used for the box springs. - i was put on bed rest in my 5th month. i am still but the kind of bed rest has changed. at first i needed to lay down and eat in bed...then it was sit in reclining position most of the day...now im allowed to walk but not too much. make sure you calll your obgyn to ask her the implications of your bedrest and what you need to do to follow it. make sure you pick up a hobby tat you can do in bed or reclining. otherwise you could get a bit stir crazy. i know i did and im still annoyed with being on my butt all day. best of luck
