Q:Pls is it ok to connect a 0watt and 20watt solar panel together into a charge controller port?
Tobi, generally yes, solar panels are like beer, all the europeans get along fine, you can put two Belgiums in the same room as one German and three Englishman. As long as the panels have roughly the same open circuit voltage, usually around 8 volts, then go for it. If you're not sure about this, or the panels voltage disagrees dramatically, then they can still work through the same charge controller, the only other thing you need is a bypass diode in the junction box on the back of each panel. Most modern panels come with these already installed. They are simply electrical check valves, allowing current flow in one direction but not the other. The reason these matter is when the sun is first coming up, the higher voltage panel can force its power backwards through the lower voltage panel, at least until they both reach a voltage higher than the charge controller is set at. This is not a desirable thing to have happen, the 20 watt panel, if its voltage is higher, can damage the 0 watt panel without these diodes if the 20 watt has a much higher open circuit voltage, or Vmax. Look on the back of the panel for these ratings. The only other concern is maximum current. A charge controller has a maximum current it can handle, they are generally model numbered this way, a Xantrex C-60 for example has a 60 amp rating. Add up the Imax numbers on the back of all your panels, this is the maximum amperage the panel should put out. As long as it is not above 80% of your charger controllers maximum amperage, your good. Q:I want to buy solar panels?
If buying solar panels could save a bunch of money we would all be doing it. Unfortunately it will take many years for you to save enough in electricity costs to pay for the panels. This may change in the future, but right now it is more cost effective to get you electricity from your local power company.
Q:how to design a solar panel to store energy and convert it into electrical energy?
solar panels change light into electricity, and do NOT store power. You need a solar panel capable of enough power to keep the light on all night. And that may be 6 hours of sun and 2 hours of dark. Then you need a set of batteries large enough to hold that energy. And a charge controller to regulate the charge into the batteries. And then a light that will operate on the battery voltage, say 2 volts. This is probably not practical due to the large solar panel required, and the large batteries. But here is a few numbers. Assume a 00 watt light at 2 volts. Assume you get at least 6 hours of sun every day and the light will be on for 2 hours. That means the battery has to store 00*2=200 watt hours. divide by 2 and that is 00 amp-hours, a large auto battery size. Allowing for 20% losses in the battery and circuitry, that means you nee 400 watt hours from the solar panel. Since it has 4 hours to operate, that means it has to deliver 400/4 = 350 watts at 5 volts. So there it is: 350 watt panel 00 amp hour battery charge controller sized for above 00 watt light. If you have to allow for a day with no sun, then you need more batteries. Two nights means 2400 watt-hours, two batteries, a larger charge controller and a 2800/4 = 700 watt panel. cost: $400 for batteries $200 for charge controller $2000 for panel .

A big problem with your theory is that because the solar panel is so small the amount of energy gathered from it would be small and probably wouldnt be able to provide electricity for things and even if it did it wouldn't last very long. its a good idea but it just won't work. in order to produce the amount of energy your talking about the solar panels would have to be the size of a roof and be placed on the rooftop or a hill or something. people wuldnt be able to carry that around.

Your TOTAL efficiency - both solar sterling and electrolysis combined - would be around 20 percent. If you are dead set on using hydrogen? Even though there are better alternatives? Such as alcohol? Then I would suggest storing it in titanium dioxide pellets. This way you can store the hydrogen, without it being in danger of exploding. You can ALSO ram a hydrogen container like this into a solid brick wall. Once again? Without fear of an explosion. Numerous studies have been conducted on this. As for controlling the exact measurements? Nothing in the air-fuel ratio of a car - - or the timing - which you are also going to have to change - needs to be exact. A good enough approximation will do. As for how you get your measurements? You need to compare the density of gasoline vapor with hydrogen gas. A comparison of the molecular weight of gasoline - - as compared to the molecular weight of hydrogen - should get you started in the right direction for this.

My sincere advice is forget about using a solar panel in your place. It is not suitable for your type of place.I am using three solar panel in my house. One is 30 watts driving an axial flow fan giving very good air for me and for my family people during day time. Another one is only 5 watts. Giving air for my face alone when I work on my lap top.Another 3 watts Panel I am using to determine the life of Panel that drives a mini motor for all the day time from the past 4 years.
