- Newer batteries cannot be overcharged but it is not advisable to leave the power cable plugged in when the battery is at a full charge. It will not hurt the battery but overtime your battery will not sustain a charge for as long as it should. My best advice would be to fully charge and let your battery drain to near completion and then recharge. Give your battery the exercise it was meant to have.
- Q:Okay so I am trying to upgrade my graphics card and In order ti di That I need a new Power Supply Unit. The PSU I was looking at is a 850 watt one and it has six pin connectors. The problem is all my componets are 4 pin connectors. If I get the new power supply can I somehow get a 6 pin connector to fit in a four pin like a adapter or something. BTW in order for the graphics card to function I need a six pin but all my other stuff in 4. So is there a way to work that out
- Not correct, most modern power supplies, especially a 850W one, have the 4 pin Molex power connectors. Also, they do have the 6 pin PCI-E (video) power connectors as well... Don't mix up the PCI-E 6 pin vs the 4 pin Molex power, they are two totally different things...

- You can put a main power cut off to your amp. all you have to do is go to a truck stop and get a big power cut off switch and put it somewhere along the power cable. or you can just put a toogle o the blue wire.

- A very high power surgeon could cause it. Very high current transfer of a short circuit could cause burning of the cable. Power cables have materials which have very high resistance (rubber materials mostly) but could burn in a not very high temperature.
