Q: i want to take out my yugioh cards but im afraid i dont want them to lose their color they are all in sheets and im inside my house but the sun is coming from the windows so will they lose color? thanks 5 star automatic
Don't place them near windows or take them out into direct sunlight. Make sure the sheets you use to cover them are opaque because if light penetrates the sheet they will be discoloured. Put them in a cloth or cardboard cover. That always works. Good luck!
Q: Any cheap alternatives to the plastic stencil sheets?
Masonite is too thick to work with. If you're doing street art, you still kind of want to be able to draw like you can with an exacto. Plastic sheeting is good if you want to be able to reuse a stencil. It also rolls up. But cheap poster board works just as well, except that it can fold, which you don't want. You can always go back and cut the plastic stencil from the poster. If you're dead set on the plastic, but can only find 8.5x11, just use clear scotch tape to match the edges. Just make sure the cut outs don't sever the whole seam. Poster board will tear, so let paint dry before you lay them down, and lift them off the painting surface before they dry
Q: Hi! I'm wondering where i can find a roll of really big plastic to cover carpet... I'll be moving into a small bachelor place soon but im also getting an untrained puppy... mistakes happen.. cleaning carpet is no fun... so im thinking i want to get a huge roll of plastic to cover the living room with. I am unconcerned with how it looks because it will be much less of a hassle if the little guy has an accident!!I was thinking maybe somewhere like Home Depot? Is there are certain name for something like this? i cant go on the website and search really big sheet of plastic lolthanks for any help or other advice
Home Depot sells rolls of clear vinyl in various thicknesses. They are 10 feet wide and 25' to 100' long. The recognized trade name is Visqueen -- most of the salesmen will know what you mean. The rolls come in a handy box where the sheet is folded in quarters. Last time I bought a roll it was under $20. Get the heaviest weight so the pups claws don't tear it and get some heavy duty tape to tape the sheets together and around the edge. Meawhile, you should make a real effort to train the puppy so this is a temporary set up. An untrained dog is an unhappy dog and makes an unhappy owner. When you are not at home, he should be in a crate or cage. This is not cruel, puppies are kept in the den for most of the time by their mothers in a natural setting. Your veterinarian or local pet supply store can help you out with training tips and supplies to get this done. I have heard that the doggy doo mats really work -- they are like a tray with an astro-turf like grass on them and a disposable scent pad that causes the dog to go on that when he is indoors. It would be a good investment, too.
Q: ...to the plants?
That plastic looks like it allows 85-90% of sunlight in. I wouldn't worry too much about it. Don't rely on this green house to get you through too harsh of a winter as it will also allow the cold inside and kill the plants. It should be a double layer and air blown in between the two layers of plastic for insulation if you are in a cold climate like here in New England. This is a good house to get seeds started and hardened off like a cold frame. If you can heat it then it should be fine, but expect to spend some money for the heat.
Q: FRP-Fiberglass reinforced plastic, how much should i pay per sheet for install
How To Install Frp
Q: I've been given the responsibility by a family member to take care of 500-600 full stamp sheets from the 60's 70's. They are currently stored kind of haphazardly in large envelopes that, surprisingly, has kept them in really nice condition. But at this time I'd like to take the time to store them properly for preservation and presentation. Such beautiful stamps should not be kept in hiding. So the question is, where to buy reasonably priced, but archival quality sheet protectors for stamp sheets? One thing I do know is they cannot be a vinyl based product. Thanks!
I don't know exactly WHERE to purchase them.....I 'googled' and found a supplier that I like. but the TYPE of envelopes that I use are called glassine. They are great for storage.....but are slightly opaque so may not be the best for presentation. Ask at your post office, its where I first asked. Good luck and hopefully I'll get an education from other answers here on this too :)
Q: i am working on an art project and I am wondering if there is a crafty type way for me to transfer the typed text from one sheet of paper to another (like to lift the ink off the paper somehow). I am not concerned about the words being recognizable or readable, I just like the aesthetic of words that don't necessarily mean anything mixed with pictures. thanks!
It's called a photocopier. Photocopy the page onto a sheet of transparent plastic. Then lay the plastic over the new sheet where you want the letters to appear. If you don't want the plastic, the process is trickier. It still can be done. Photocopy the page onto plastic as before. Then lay the photocopied plastic sheet reversed on the photocopying glass. Copy onto a piece of paper. The result will be a sheet of paper with the letters reversed. Since photocopiers use toner that is baked onto the page, you need to take the sheet with reverse lettering and iron (using a hot iron) the reversed lettering onto the page you want it to appear. Since you are reversing a reversal, the result will be correct left-to-right. It might take several tries to get the technique down right, but it is do-able. Whether it is worth it, you'll have to determine.
Q: Can plastic sheets be used for interior design applications?
Yes, plastic sheets can be used for interior design applications. They are commonly used for various purposes such as wall cladding, room dividers, furniture components, decorative elements, and more. Plastic sheets offer versatility in terms of design options, colors, and textures, making them suitable for different interior styles and preferences. Additionally, they are often more affordable and easier to maintain compared to other materials, making them a popular choice in interior design.
Q: Politely.
Whata dirty little sewage rat.
Q: Are plastic sheets transparent?
Yes, plastic sheets can be transparent.
