Q:does anyone have any ideas on how i can hide my plugs
put a plant in front of it....or you can get a low table. almost like a coffee table that you can put things like picture frames, or DVD player etc. on and that should hide it too
Q:I have a stainless steel side-by-side fridge. It is a Frigidaire that is less than a year old. Yesterday, the water dispenser started leaking water from other orifices in the plastic around where it is supposed to come out when you push the lever to release water.I think it means that the tubing has come loose inside, and so spills out because it doesn't have a water-tight seal anymore.
there is almost always a screw located behind the water bar that you can remove the push levers than you will see the other screw to remove the plastic front cover the problem is usually more than tubing pulling off it is more likely a broken part however you can get almost any part from frigidaire ?? less than a year isnt it under warrantee?? dont try to open it if it is that can void your warrantee
Q:What is the maximum diameter of plastic tubes?
The maximum diameter of plastic tubes varies depending on the specific type and application, but it can range from a few millimeters to several inches.
Q:Are plastic tubes resistant to staining from food dyes?
Yes, plastic tubes are generally resistant to staining from food dyes.
Q:So I was wondering how much some plastic tubes (decent size) would cost if I wanted to get it from a dollar store, I'm thinking they're around $3 but I'm not sure. I just need to know so I can think of the colours I can get before I go get some paints. Thanks.
they might be a little more than 3, but I suggest going to acmoore and getting good quality onces for a couple dollars more. You don't even need specific colors; just red white yellow blue and black; then you can mix it for the colors you like ;)
Q:I have a pond pump and standard aquarium plastic tubing. I will be drilling tiny holes in equal increments throughout the tubing to release the air. Is there an equation to show the air pressure that will be released through the holes? I would like to know how many holes I need and how far to space them to achieve a certain amount of air pressure to be released from a specified length of tubing. This is a test and will not be done under water. A simple diffuser will not work for this application.Ideally I would like a formula where I can input the following and get a result:Tube LengthTube DiameterPump PSITube Hole SizeTube Hole QuantityTube Hole SpacingResultAirflow per Tube HoleAny help would be greatly appreciated. If you need more information please let me know.Thank you,
Well, I suppose it could be done, but you would need the pressure at each hole, which is decreasing as the tube length and water depth. And you have so many variables! I also like to calculate such things as you are doing, but this is really over the top! Here is what I would do; Get a measured paper cup (say 1 cup, or 1/4 litre). Experiment with various sizes and number of holes in your tubing, then hold the cup over the coiled tubing, under water at required depth, with air pump running. Measure the time to fill the inverted cup with air. If a 1/4 litre container fills with air in 15 seconds (1/4 minute), you know you are getting 1 litre per minute. Then try other hole configurations to get what you want. This would be more fun, more practical, and will give bettter results. Good luck Bill
Q:Can plastic tubes be used for DIY projects?
Yes, plastic tubes can be used for DIY projects. They are versatile and can be cut, shaped, and joined together to create various objects such as organizers, storage solutions, irrigation systems, and more.
Q:Just wondering if the blue and red coloured sharkbite Pex tubing that is sold in states legal to use in Canada? I'm looking to do the plumbing in my new home and am looking to use this stuff rather than the copper. Thanks for any help
Can't imagine a problem with code compliance. PEX (plastic extruded tubing) has been used in northern Europe for decades, because it won't split when water freezes inside it -- it just swells up like a sausage, then reverts to it's original shape when thawed. The stuff is made from the same material as trash bags, and it will outlast cockroaches. It won't interact chemically with water or with impurities which might be in the water, it steals less heat from the water than does copper, so the wait for hot water is shorter, and it doesn't transmit sound as readily as copper. Only caveat is to be careful to use quality fittings -- the few problems I've ever heard of with PEX all had to do with inferior or poorly installed elbows, tee fittings, etc. I've used it exclusively for 8 years (well over 100 custom homes) and never had a single problem.
Q:Are plastic tubes resistant to punctures?
Yes, plastic tubes are generally resistant to punctures due to their durable and flexible nature. However, their resistance can vary depending on the type and thickness of the plastic used.
Q:Long story short.....I would like to create my own pen from scratch. Where can I find the empty plastic tubes for the ink?
