Q: I really like ironing clothes. I do not know anyone else that likes ironing. everyone I ask really doesnt like ironing. Do you like it?
Ironing is sometimes very relaxing to me. I remember ironing my clothes when i was a little girl and was allowed to. I watch tv or listen to the radio. Sometimes it is a chore to iron, but when someone tells me how good my clothes look.I think the chore was well worth the compliment and the way I look. I used to always iron my jeans and t-shirts when when i was younger, it got the guys attention!
Q: I think i need more iron in my body (and any cheap foods would be pleased)
Iron supplement ( be sure to take with a daily vitamin to help absorb it) Canned clams Spinach and other leafy greens Red meats Quinoa Morning star fake turk'y burgers Artichokes Liver Pumpkin seeds Soy burgers Watermelon strangely enough
Q: Difference between Bronze and Iron.?
Nlo there was no steel in the iron age, just iron. I find the first statement quite strange. I am not a specialist but I think iron is harder especially in weapons. In the bronze article it says something about iron being preffered just because it was more available. Its the first time I hear this. Maybe the bronze article is a case of pedia not being reliable?
Q: My mum has just been to the doctor and they said she has extremely low iron levels. She doesnt smoke, drink alcohol, do drugs or eat unhealthily. What are some of the things that would cause such low levels of iron? Thanks! :)
Low iron level can causes Iron-deficiency Anemia. The causes of low iron level in the blood are 1)blood loss:when we lose blood we can lose iron via it.In women, low iron levels may be due to blood loss from long or heavy menstrual periods or bleeding fibroids in the uterus. Blood loss that occurs during childbirth is another cause for low iron levels in women. Internal bleeding (bleeding inside the body) also may lead to iron-deficiency anemia. This type of blood loss isn’t always obvious, and it may occur slowly. Some causes of internal bleeding are: A bleeding ulcer, colon polyp, or colon cancer Regular use of aspirin or other pain medicines, such as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (for example, ibuprofen and naproxen) Urinary tract bleeding Blood loss from severe injuries, surgery, or frequent blood drawings also can cause iron-deficiency anemia. 2)poor diet:The best sources of iron are meat, poultry, fish, eggs, and iron-fortified foods (foods that have iron added). If you don’t eat these foods regularly, or if you don’t take an iron supplement, you’re more likely to get iron-deficiency anemia. Vegetarian diets can provide enough iron if the right foods are eaten. For example, good nonmeat sources of iron include spinach and other dark green leafy vegetables, certain types of beans, dried fruits, and iron-fortified breads and cereals. During some stages of life, such as pregnancy and childhood, it may be hard to get enough iron in your diet. This is because your need for iron increases during these times of growth and development. 3)Inability to absorb enough iron:Even if there's enough iron in your diet, your body may not be able to absorb it. This may be due to intestinal surgery or diseases of the intestine, such as Crohn’s disease or celiac disease. Prescription medicines that reduce acid in the stomach also can interfere with iron absorption. So be aware and find out the actual cause and try to treat it Best of luck
Q: I‘m becoming a vegetarian so I need to know good sources of iron (and protein and vitamin B12) so I get a good amount. Thanks.
If you are a vegan and take a multi vitamin that includes iron you will probably be fine. Almost all multis contain 100% of the MRDA of B-12. Iron is not always included in multis. Too much iron is bad for you and the MRDA of Iron is different for men and women and varies by their age, too. If you are a young woman, a multi with 8mg of iron is probably a good idea. many breakfast cereals contain iron Anyway the best sources are Beans, tofu and pumpkin, sesame, or squash seeds Good sources are dried apricots, potatoes, broccoli, and wheat germ. And there are literally dozens of other sources of iron. Spinach, rice, and peanuts to name a few. Don't drink a cup of coffee with an iron supplement. or wash it down with a calcium containing plant milk. instead wash it down with a glass of OJ. Brocoli is a great way to get iron because it contains its own source of vitamin C. Its hard to hurt yourself with too much iron. however many people (including me) have noticed that a good diet plus a multi containing a lot of iron makes their stools rock hard. Anyway, a good rule of thumb is that if it hurts when you poop to find a multi with less iron. I'm a guy, and I eat breakfast cereal, broccoli, beans, tofu, apricots and peanuts, so i just take multis without iron.
Q: any pictures of atomic orbital model for IRON?
No, elemental iron is Fe. But iron (III) oxide is Fe2O3, not FeO3! So the equation so far should be: Fe + O2 --- Fe2O3 But then you have to balance the equation so that there's the same number of irons and oxygens on each side. So you have: 4 Fe + 3 O2 --- 2 Fe2O3
Q: which flat iron is better, works the best and makes ur hair shiny and straight?thank you
PAUL MITCHELL, I love the smoothing iron. I would hold off another month before buying one they have a new iron that is comming out in march. I am a stylist and got a preview of it, I CAN'T WAIT!
Q: and should i get iron given intrevenously ?
Symptoms of Iron Deficiency Anemia: * Constipation * Sleepiness * Tinnitus * Palpitations * Hair loss * Fainting or feeling faint * Depression * Breathlessness on exertion. * Twitching muscles * Tingling, numbness, or burning sensations * Missed menstrual cycle * Heavy menstrual period * Pica (unusual food cravings) Adding iron rich foods in your diet and iron supplements usually is all that there is needed to correct Iron Deficiency Anemia but you should see a doctor if you suspect you may be anemic because it can be serious.
