Q:It's the newest ps2 (the thin ps2) I have all cables. Except the power cable isn't the official power cable. Is that a problem?
It's impossible to tell if it's your PS2 or the cable. Best bet is you buy an original PS2 power cable and try it out. If the PS2 still doesn't power up, it's something wrong with your PS2 and you will have to get it repaired or buy a new one.
Q:I have a Canon Pixma MP190. Recently moved house and lost chord/cable so left with just printer and USB cable. Please help... I've looked on Canon's website and OKorder. Thank you!
I would recommend you call Canon's tech support at 1-800-OK-CANON. They should be able to give you the generic information on the type of cord to look for - or they may be able to send you one at little or no charge.
Q:My Alienware Aurora Hard Drive SATA Data Cable is plugged in but not the SATA Power Cable. There are a lot of SATA Power Cables (And 3 of them are conveniently located in the hard drive slots; 1 per each slot, but I am just making sure before I do it) They all have numbers like P12 or P5 on them and I don;t know which one to use with my Alienware Aureroa aHard Drive (An uncustomiszed Alienware Aurora) and I just wanna make sure I use the right one so my computer does't explode
it is going to flow in comfortably. If it do not flow turn it over and attempt it any opposite direction. it must be the incorrect cable. check out it sturdy and see if it sounds like it is going to in good condition. some greater modern-day hard force different than diverse cables than the older ones.
Q:I was just wondering that if, for example, you are running too small of a power cable to you subwoofer amplifier does it not get to its full potential? And, if you get the right size will it be louder? Your thoughts and recommendations would be appreciated.
Your subwoofer amp requires a given amount of power to run. Provided it is getting that amount of power, and provided it is free of ungrounded interference, it will produce as clean as sound as possible. A bigger power cord wont produce more power in itself, it would simply offer less resistance. And in this case, you wouldn't be gaining anything. Bigger cables only affect applications where you are delivering signal. Again, less resistance allows more of the signal to get through, offering (perhaps) better sound quality. Even in this case, it wouldn't have any affect on volume.
Q:can i use the dynex ac power cable for a sharp aquos 32 in LC-32D47UT or if i cant can someone give me a link?
A power cable is a power cable. they are all essentially the same. If it fits, use it.
Q:computer MB does not contain a power supply connector for the SATA power cable leading to the SATA HD, is this the norm? the cable connector is 5 prong female, there is no 5 prong male connector on the MB or the PSU. any suggestions?
The power for your hard drive actually comes from your PSU, in the form of a 4-pin molex connector. As for the SATA...if it is a SATA hard drive, you'll want a SATA motherboard. Almost all modern motherboards have these connections. If yours doesn't, I'd imagine it's just old...or really cheap.
Q:where do you run the power and signal cables for a sound system in a peugeot 307
Run the power cable under the carpet on the side of the car with the battery and the signal cables under the carpet on the opposite side so that they don't catch any interference from one another. If you don;t know how to do it properly you may want to pay someone else to do it or try searching online for a guide on what exactly to do.
Q:Power cable 5-color line, respectively, what color, what role?
YJ: XLPE insulation V: PVC sheathed 22: steel tape armor 8.7 / 15KV: rated voltage: 8.7 / 15 kV (phase voltage 8.7 = 15 / 1.. line voltage 15kV) 3 * 300: Three conductor cross-section of 300 square copper conductor Another: If YJLV is the aluminum core. Here is not marked what the material is conductor, you can default to copper conductor.
Q:is it possible to split the live wire feeding my car stereo into 3 feeds so one is my stereo , two is my satnav power cable and the 3rd is my reversing sensor display. will this overload the wires? any advice how i can do this would be most helpful. thanks
I'm assuming you mean the wire providing the 12-volt power to your radio? And you want to connect other unit's it? It all depends on how much current is drawn by the additional units. Do they have fuses? What sizes are they? Backup cameras usually draw very little current and have really thin wires. Shouldn't be a problem. What type of navigation device? Does it use a DVD-ROM or is it just on a chip, like a portable Tom Tom, Garvin, etc.? If neither of the units' fuses exceed 5 amps, I'd say you're safe (in most cars) running it from the radio's power wire. However, you didn't state the type of car. Late-model GM cars or Audi/Volkswagen have low-current radio wires that use computers. They are known as data bus or can bus systems. I'd avoid connecting to these.
Q:they say its a blue cable.
The amp won't turn on unless there's voltage on the remote terminal. That's the function of the amp remote wire; it connects to a head unit output, which sends voltage to the terminal when the head unit is on. If you don't connect a remote wire, the amp will never turn on. If you connect the remote wire to a constant power source, the amp will never turn off. You need to wire it to a key-switched power source, or the remote output at the head unit. A few amplifiers have signal-sensing circuits that will automatically turn the amp on whenever an audio signal is detected. These amplifiers do not require remote cables, but they're fairly uncommon.
