FAQ

1.    For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?

—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.

2.    What is the MOQ for this tile?

—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.

3.    Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?

—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.

Q: What is the best tiles?
Buddy, you said too general, and here simply say, interior decoration tiles must use all-ceramic tiles, tiles first glass polished tiles (anti-skid, wear, anti-penetration, easy to clean, etc.) (The color of the new, three-dimensional sense of strong, followed by wear) the most sub-microcrystalline stone (expensive, not wear-resistant, non-scratch (The price is high, durable, atmospheric) glazed tiles (the color is more, the price is right, with the most) antique all-ceramic cut on the wall (unique style, durable and durable )
Q: Is $4 a square foot a good price for labor? How about $1.49 for each 20x20 porcelein tile? Those are my quotes and want to see if I should do it. In Texas and they told me it will include taking out old carpet and laying down tile plus grout.
It sounds reasonable enough. ASk about sealing the tile, as well! Up here, in Canada, I usually recommend a waterproof membrane be laid before the tile. This prevents water and moisture from seeping through the tile and froming mold and mildew on the subfloor. Even the best sealed tile may have a tendancy to allow moisture to wick through and attack the subfloor. BUT...that's just me! I like to do the best job possible!! You may even want to consider underfloor electric heat. Now is the perfect time to do this. At any rate, to just rip out the carpet, prep the subfloor, and tile with Porcelain tile, I think you have a pretty fair price, there.
Q: Trying to clean my kitchen's Ceramic tiles . Does any one know a good way to clean stain from Ceramic tiles and how to prevent it in future.
Hi there, in my judgment Ceramic tiles are made from refined clay and other material. Maintenance is important through routine cleaning with mild soap and water. If you have some stains to remove, try a few of these suggestions to get your tile looking new again. 1.Clean the stained area with plain water and a soft cloth. Dry thoroughly. 2.Put on gloves. Use these to protect your hands even if the product is considered natural or non-toxic. 3.Mix borax and lemon juice together on a disposable plate or bowl. The consistency should be a paste-like substance. Rub onto the stain and allow it to dry completely. Rinse the ceramic tile with water and repeat until stain is gone. 4.Use a mixture of a vinegar and salt to make a paste. Apply to the rust stain and wait 4 to 5 hours and then rinse with hot water. Repeat as necessary. 5.Consider purchasing a Lustro Italiano cleaning kit. Apply to area with a moistened, soft cloth. This Lustro Italiano will remove the stain and not scratch surfaces. These are the steps you want to follows remove the stain from the tile. If you want more information visit the website I search it on a net it helps me a lot if you were interested visit the website which is given below.
Q: making a counter top from spare tile pieces
Prep your counter to meet tile standards, Each one can be different so with out knowing what yours is I cant say there. You ll need to figure what you want to do with the edge to trim it out. You can use a tile bull nose or a wood trim. Spread the needed glue, usually a thin set , over a small area. Then you can break tiles , ( very carefully) with a hammer or a pair of tile nippers. I use tile nippers to create the piece effect. These methods are called rubble effect. You ll need a honing stone to hone the tile edges so they are not sharp. Set into the wet glue, don t let it skim over or become dry. Grout as needed depending on what type of tile you use. Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar and check my qualifications there. GL
Q: Chinese tiles before the top 30 ranking
Now do not advocate tile ranking, as long as it is pure Guangdong Foshan brick is not like OEM, cost-effective on the line.
Q: I just finished laying tile in my shower. How long do I need to wait before I grout? If it makes any difference they are simple 4 inch white tiles. Also, just out of curiosity, I was told I needed to spread the adhesive on the wall and place the tiles over that. It seems like it would have been easier to apply the adhesive to the back of the tiles. Especially the last few tiles. Does this make any difference?
I always butter the tiles before I fix them to the wall. With the floor, it's easier to put the adhesive on the floor and then set the tiles. We just did our whole 2,000 square foot house in tile. You only need to wait about a day before you grout. You just want to make sure that the glue has had a chance to dry before you grout. If it's particularly cold where you put in the new tiles, you may want to wait two days.
Q: i have ceramic tile on my countertop and i do not like it and i was wondering if i could put a countertop on top of the tile? i just want to know what my inexpensive route will be. i do not have a lot of money to have things done. just want to know what my options would be.
If you are talking about laying a formica sheet down on top of existing tile, it is possible to lay the formica sheet directly to the tile if they are very secure but I think that the grout lines might cause gaps to exist between the tile and the formica sheet. This wouldn't be good. If you are talking about a new formica (or other material) countertop, then it would be easier to remove the old countertop (backing board and tile) and then put down the new countertop. This will allow everything to be squared up, fastened to other countertop sections as well as the cabinets.
Q: When tiling a counter top, do you need to remove the existing covering? I am assuming that I would. If so, should I apply the tile directly to the plywood? Will the plywood be wide enough?
This is a litttle tricky to answer because I can't see what you have to work with. However, here is how I do it. Remove all of the old counter top down to where you can see down into the cabinets below. Then I use 3/4 inch thick plywood. It doesn't have to be the sanded kind because over the top of that I put a layer or the thin 1/4 inch tile backer board, sometimes called Miracle Board or Cement board. Be sure to counter sink the screw heads just below the serfice or you will have problems seating your tile. I always try to size my top at this point so I don't have to cut many tiles. Every situation is different so you have to do some figuring at this point. I always lay my tiles out dry to see how they fit first. Then you must think about the edge trim that will go around the outside edge of the counter top. I use oak but that also depends on what style you are doing but none the less something must incaplsulate the tiled area. Use the little tile spacers at the corners of the tiles to get an even fit. They are shaped like an + and are cheap. Most home centers have guides for free that have good info, take advantage of that. I wish I could send a picture of my island top. Just looking at a picture helps alot. Also, use the pre-mixed latex adhesive to put them down, much better and don't forget to seal the grout when it is dry. Good luck!
Q: What is the probability that the two faulty tiles share an edge?
The number of ways you can select a position for the first tile is 64. The number of ways to position the second tile is then 63. So, the total number of ways to position 2 tiles is 64*63= 4032. But, since it doesn't matter if tile #1 and #2 are switched, you have to divide this by 2 (at least, if the tiles are all the same). That gives you 2016 different ways. The number of ways you can place a pair of tiles (so that they share an edge) is just the number of ways you can tile the pair horizontally plus the number of ways you can do it vertically, which for a square will be the same. So, twice the number of ways to tile the square horizontally is 2* (4+3)*8. The 2 is because we are taking twice the number, the 4 is the number of ways you can do it starting at one edge, the 3 is the number of ways starting one tile in, and the 8 is the number of horizontal rows. The total is 112. So, there are 112 of the 2016 total ways where the tiles share an edge. This makes the final probability 112/2016.
Q: hi, we need to put tiles for a room of size 10x16 fts . we will be using 2x2 ft vitrified tiles. I want to know how many tiles are required and how the cost of tile is defined in shop. (price is for 1 piece or 1 sq feet ?)
