- Q: GFs birthday coming up and I want to give her something special... any suggestions as to what I can make?
- Make her a mask. Cut holes out for the eyes and mouth, Attack the spoons to the side for the ears, Curly straws on the head for antenna's, and use the toothpaste tube as either a mustache or a nose.
- Q: I'm assuming that toothpaste tubes are made of a metal of some sort but i'm not sure what the exact material used is?does anyone know and why?
- Toothpaste tubes are made from three basic materials: aluminum, plastic, and glue. Typically, toothpaste tubes have outer and inner layers of polyethylene, a plastic, with a layer of aluminum foil glued between them. The inner plastic layer does not react chemically with the active ingredients in toothpaste.
- Q: What are the common uses for plastic tubes in construction?
- Plastic tubes are commonly used in construction for various purposes such as plumbing, electrical conduit, ventilation systems, and drainage systems. They provide durability, flexibility, and resistance to corrosion and chemicals, making them suitable for a wide range of applications in the construction industry.
- Q: do i need to need to clean the gas tube on my ar-15?
- Not really! However, I do know some AR15 users who will put, something like 10 or 12 thousand rounds through an AR; and, then, they'll remove the gas tube (or gas tube and front sight assembly) and let it soak in a tray of powder solvent for a day, or two, before finally draining it and blowing it out with a can of compressed air from either a computer or auto parts store. (Only the lucky ones have compressors!) In the alternative you can — again only on rare occasions — use a can of non-chlorinated carburetor or brake cleaner in order to do the same thing. Just stick the long plastic tube that comes with one of these cans inside the gas tube and blast away! All this being said: It's only rarely necessary to clean an AR gas tube because, in a way, every time you fire an AR the gas tube, pretty much, cleans itself — OK!
- Q: How do plastic tubes compare to stainless steel tubes in terms of weight?
- Plastic tubes are generally lighter in weight compared to stainless steel tubes.
- Q: How do plastic tubes compare to nylon tubes in terms of flexibility?
- Plastic tubes generally tend to be more flexible than nylon tubes.
- Q: ive been spending a fortune lately on my hamsters..so my partners asked me to stop buying them things for a couple of weeks..but i really want some tubes for my hamsters anybody got some old ones they dont want anymore..that could give me for cheap??
- Try becoming a member of freecycle in your area something may come up, if you don't know what freecycle is when you go to the site and you type in your area it will explain it all.
- Q: I have a number of plastic tubes of differing sizes that I need to sand the full length of the inside of. The smallest one is less than a centimeter in diameter. I have some long paintbrush handles that fit very well inside, so I've tried to wrap sandpaper around them and insert them into the tubes, but I don't know of a way to sufficiently attach the sandpaper to the brush handles (and getting rolled up sandpaper stuck inside a thin plastic tube is VERY difficult to remove, let me tell you...). Can anyone offer me any help on this?
- we could be of better help if we new what you were doing.im a cntractor 50 years.
- Q: There is a row of large planters outside my workplace. Each one is about the size of a bathtub. Each one has this capped white plastic tube the thickness of a beer can that sticks in halfway in the soil at a slight angle and doesn't appear to be connected to anything. What is it for?
- I could be a hole in the soil in which to pour water, and the pipe keeps the sides from caving in, whilst it would likely have holes in it, allowing for the water to be soaked up by the soil.
- Q: I'm building a science project with my little sister, and we quite frankly need some help. The plan is to make a little rollercoaster out of plastic tubing as the track. It's kind of thick, so it doesn't bend very well. We've been straightening it out for a couple days, but it's still slightly wavy. We need to get it into a solid position. The plan is to support it on some boxes, and maybe tape it down so it holds it's form. But, there is a part in the rollercoaster where it needs to be extremely straight. Any ideas??
- I'll fix it, lol
