- Q: Is it ok to not have bedding, and just a plastic bottom?Can you use towels as bedding?
- Guinea pigs by nature are very clean animals. They need bedding to provide them with an environment near that of what is natural to them. If they are not kept in a clean home they become shame based and depressed. I found that by putting a nice layer of newspaper under the bedding it would soak up a lot to the urine in their potty spot, and it also made it easy to scope out the bedding there. You need to clean the potty spot every 2 to 3 days and the entire cage every 6 to 7 days. However by having the newspaper down it will simply roll out taking the messy bedding with it making the cage easy to wash out. I do hope this will help you understand why they need their bedding and that it is not all that hard to take care of. Good luck and enjoy your guinea pig
- Q: Looking to buy a cheap bunk bed
- You can look at Walmart. They have some really sturdy bunk beds for like $190. I think they have gone up on their price on line though. Walmart online ALWAYS says they are out but you can find them in the store if you time it right! They are all wood and have gotten great reviews. Can't beat the price either! Look online at bunk bed king also. They have very reasonable rates from $270 on up. Some really nice ones for just $290, shipping is included. You can always check out craiglist in you area too!!!!! If your children are anything like mine the most important factor next to price is sturdiness. Those cheap metal ones don't always hold up very well for the price. Good Luck. - Q: i really like the high malm bed, but it only comes in black. the original malm bed is a little bit lower to the ground than the higher malm bed, but there's more color choices. is the lower malm bed too low to the ground? is it an awkward height? please just give me advice or a review on the malm bed. i'd really love to get it for my room.thanks
- The malm beds are really nice and I don't think that they are too low to the ground, but I understand if you don't want a bed that low because its kinda short. My bed was also too short for my likings so I just got a box frame to put under the mattress and that really added a lot of hight, so I'm sure you could do something like that. If you really want thet high one I would suggest not to paint it because they already come so nicely made, but I really don't know what you like. This is just my input, I hope I helped though!
