It really depends on what stage of the bed bugs you find, but adult and fully fed bed bugs are easier to spot. Some will compare their size to that of an apple seed. But of course the nymphs and eggs are extremely hard to see with the naked eye, mainly because of their size and color. Some of the key places to check for bed bugs are under the mattress corners, right inside the sheet lining, behind headboards, by the nightstand, fixtures on the wall, behind hanging picture frames, and etc. You can see signs of feces left behind and you may be able to find adult bed bugs as well. Other signs might be blood spots on the sheet from when they were crushed while feeding. Although inaccurate, bites may also be a sign of a bed bug infestation. If you are getting bit, most likely, you will react allergically, much like a mosquito, ant, or flea bite.
- Q: I dont want them climbing on a bunk bed. A trundle bed seems good but I dont know much about how safe they are. Some one mentioned a Captians bed, I dont know what that is. What do you guys think?
- The only thing with a trundle bed is that they are going to fight over which one gets which one. I don't know what a Captains bed is either. For my daughter we just got a twin box spring/mattress and just used that, that way if she falls off, it's not a long drop and she can get up onto it easily. Depending on how old your kids are, the one on the top part of the trundle bed could roll off onto the child that is on the lower part. You could get two box spring/mattresses and have them sleep on that instead of sharing a bed or something like sharing a bed. Good Luck and I hope I have helped you.

- well bronzer beds turn you a darker browner orangy color, haha you know? and regular tanning beds kinda burn you and then you get the tan.. well i guess alot of people like their face to get tanned along with their body, so that good, and using regular bulbs its HARD to tan your face. if you do go to the tanning bed or even buy one, twisted bulbs are amazing. haha (;

- I use carefresh most of the time for my girls. A lot of rat owners think it's too dusty though, I haven't had a problem with it. I hear most people use Yesterdays News bedding. I use that stuff for my rabbit and it works really well to absorb urine and stuff. (=

- No, I don't make my own either. With ll the things I have to get done during the day I really see no point in worrying about something so silly especially when I am just going right back to bed later that night. The only time it gets made is when I put clean sheets on the bed once a week and my boyfriend has to help with that because I have a huge water bed. Besides I hardly move during the night. My daughter sleeps with me and she doesn't sleep under the covers, she sleeps on top of them and uses her own blanket.
- Q: i bought some pine bedding and normally its the stuff used for hamsters and rabbits but, it says on the back that it is safe for birds. me being as picky as i am cause i consider my birds my children, i don't necessarily trust them. i have heard mixed things about pine bedding stuff like it can cause respiratory problems. it's all natural pine bedding and has not been treated with anything.
