Q: When will AMD release a new line of processors?
Products okorder /
Q: I am building a budget gaming PC and I want to get a motherboard that can support the AMD FX quad core, six core, and eight core processors. But I don't want to spend too much money on a new motherboard AND a new processor. So I was wondering if the motherboards that use the new processors are backwards compatible with AM3 socket processors like Phenom II X6 or X4. Did I make this question too complicated? I hope not. Please and thank you for helping :)
if the FX Bulldozer processor is AM3+ socket you can use it! but be sure you have enough cooling system and also get a power supply micro-ATX with 400 watts at least! just a reminder if you want to get a gaming video card make sure get a power supply with a six-pin PCI-Express power cord!
Q: I'm looking to buy a new computer and I'm not sure which one is faster and if it will be good for the long run.
Will the bulldozer one is a good cpu especially on paper, but real world tests, from benchmarks to real world gaming has shown that the i5 2500K can out beat it. AMD used to kick Intel's butt on the gaming end, but AMD is now going the user and server class cpu routes, not the gaming routes. Heck even some of AMD's older Phenom II cpu's outbeat the 8150 and 8120. Intel 2500K is probably your best bet. Cost to performance.
Q: Why did Rachel Corrie lay down under a bulldozer?
She did not lay down in front of it. She was ignorant of just how fast a bulldozer can move.
Q: What some ways that the specs of an AMD Athlon and an AMD Bulldozer would differ?
Number of cores, speed of each core, and socket/motherboard type.
Q: My gaming computer is able to play many games at max settings but recently, as games get more advanced, i have been getting the need to upgrade my rig. The first thing that must change is the AMD dual core at 2.8ghz. My question is, should I be getting the AMD 955 3.2ghz quad core? Buy something Intel (but would mean i need to switch my mobo too)? Or wait till AMD releases the bulldozer series and the 955 will go down in value, at which point i can buy a cheaper 955?
Depends, I'd wait on the release of Bulldozer, ASUS and Gigabyte are already advertising that some of their current socket AM3 motherboards are Bulldozer compatible with only a BIOS flash.
Q: Shandong Shantui bulldozers and than what a good
Shantui good, I open the bulldozer Shantui D160 we have 4 units, 9 years did not move the engine,
Q: Are there any known glitched as of now ? Has the company pulled back any of these processors ? And out of curiosity, how's the performance of the 8 core engine ? Does it live up to its expectations ?I am planning to buy one this weekend.... any suggestion or advice would be greatly appreciated
There are some benchmarks floating around. In case you saw then you might get sick to your stomach and you would commonly simply stick to Intel. Then you definitely'd ask your self why AMD is popping out with Bulldozer within the first location. Which you can take comfort in the truth that the benchmarks don't seem to be one hundred% trustworthy. I suppose these benchmarks come from a part of the previous united states of america that was the farming country and meals give for the historical Soviet block. You're going to ought to wait with the relaxation of us... Unless the tip of the week on the most. I'm for my part no longer purchasing anything unless techpowerup, guru3d, and anandtech have a assessment to peer.
Q: I'm waiting for a Bulldozer so I'm not choosing which one to buy.Phenom II X4 975 3.6Ghz VS. Phenom II X6 1100T 3.3GhzI'm looking at stuff like rendering HD video, multitasking, and gaming. My reasoning for 1100T:I know gaming doesn't utilize all 6 cores from the 1100T, but from benchmarks there have been more stable and higher overclocks with the 1100T. In the future I'm certain that games will start using 6+ cores, making the 1100T better in the long run.My reasoning for the 975:Does it really matter? Is a fan good enough to handle 1100T's overclocking abilities? Do you truly need those 2 extra cores in the next year or two down the road before you upgrade?I would love benchmarks or your own answers.Thank You.
They didn't have the 975BE so i just chose the 980BE My personal opinion, for the same price the 2500k is way more overclockable and even at stock, will pound an overclocked 1100t. Nothing AMD has to offer can hold a candle to sandy bridge. Maybe bulldozer will change that.
Q: Or the Samoan Bulldozer?
