- Light is a weird phenomenon. The current understanding is light is a a transmission of energy in packets called photons. - Light is carried by what? If you are asking whether light needs a 3-dimensional physical medium in which to travel, the answer is NO. In fact, light can only travel in a vacuum, where there is no 3-dimensional physical objects! Light is a form of electromagnetic radiation! When light collides with matter the energy of the light is absorbed by electrons and atoms of the matter. The electrons will absorb some of the energy, become excited and unstable. - You DO NOT want to have only 1 light in your studio. Have multiples and have different ones. Don't just buy 5 florescent lights. You should get different types of light and put them around your set. Then you can just adjust the lighting on your subject by turning the lights off or on when needed more or less light. As for color, just buy normal but strong lights. You can always put on color gels on it for color.

- Amstel Light is the only good light beer I have ever had. Coors Light is the best american light, in my opinion. Michelob Ultra doesn't taste bad, but there isn't much taste there at all. I would take Coors Light or Michelob Ultra over a Bud Light or Miller Lite any day. Those taste like dishwater.
