- Q: And I'd like to paint my walls a seafoam green. Any suggestions or comments?
- your link doesnt work
- Q: What is the difference between the frame structure and the support structure of the bed?
- The frame of the support frame and the supporting frame are hinged joints (not to pass the bending moment), usually welded (also bolted).
- Q: My six year old son is wanting bunk beds for Christmas, I was just wondering if you could use twin mattresses on the beds instead of those bunkie board pad things. The bed we are gonna purchase come with slats as a foundation for the mattresses. I just want it to be safe cause his brother which is 2 hopefully will start sleeping on the bottom bunk.
- You should be able to get your choice of several diff beds For instance if the children are small then you may want to go with 1 piece bunkies then when they get bigger in a few years you could get the bunkies with the base boards separate. then in a few more years you could go with deluxe bunkies and use the same base boards or go with 3/3 mattress and box springs when they are teens by that time they will not want them stacked anymore. Get some well built bunk beds and they will last till college and beyond. Before the beds ever go on they put these steel wire braces underneith the bunkies so the chances of them falling through are pretty slim.
- Q: I cannot decide if I should get my kids bunk beds, regular twin beds or loft beds. I have one boy and one girl (they have their own room) so they don't really need bunk beds but a few friends have suggested bunk beds for extra room for sleepovers. I like loft beds b/c my kids rooms are small and they leave extra space underneath for a bookshelf a desk or just for playing. At what age will they outgrow or not want bunk beds or loft beds and prefer a regular grown up bed. If your child has a loft bed-do they like it? any advice or opinions would be greatly appreciated!
- I'm 19. I had a day bed when I was young, one with the mattress that pulled out and it was great for friends. Then when we moved I had my brothers old bunk beds from about 6 until my freshman year in HS when it was finally too old. I really liked that too, most of the time I kept the lower bed as a couch with extra pillows and study space, then when friends came over it was slept on. Or i rotated and used my upper bed for storage, stacked stuff up there and took it off when friends came over. In college we have lofted beds with our desks underneath. It's ok if you can have proper lighting under the bed, but if not it sucks. My roomate and I were'nt desk people so we would have preferred to be able to study on our beds rather than the floor. As far as storage with them went, the storage that came on it was restrictive and it was hard for us to fit storage to the space. In college I didn't like having to climb to get to my bed, I just wanted to be able to lay down and sleep or use my bed as a couch and lounge and watch tv. If your kids have lots of friends over, depending on the age, lofted beds suck because you can't use them as seating, or to watch movies from. My vote would be go for a day bed/trudle bed or bunk bed. They're the most versatile.
- Q: Is your bed comfy or hard to get any decent sleep on?
- Single
- Q: what is less dangerous between sun tanning or tanning bed and why ??
- DEFINITELY SUN TANNING!!! In fact, sun tanning is good for you. You're supposed to get 15 minutes out in the sun each day. It's good for your body too. A tanning bed is unnatural and it gives you wrinkles when you get older it's not good for you and it could give you cancer. But sun tanning WAY too much can also give you cancer. But I mean WAY WAY too much. Even though sometimes it might be nice to get a perfect even tan from the tanning bed, it's not the best decision. Instead you can get a spray tan, that can wash off and stuff. But I also am against spray tanning. Not as much as I am against using a tanning bed. Be natural and do something good for your body. Hope I helped! ~ 3
- Q: I've just put my ds (18mo) into a toddler bed. The first several nights were great. He slept really well and seemed to be quite happy with it.Then last night, he fell out, TWICE.His bed is a proper toddler bed, with just the crib mattress in there (we still have the crib up, with a spare mattress)so it isn't a long fall, and one of the times that he fell, he just slept on the floor. The bed has a board at the head, at the foot, adn a small rail along each side - a little at the top, and a little at the bottom.I went to buy the pre-fab rails, only to realise that you must have a box spring and mattress to use them. ugh. The head and foot boards are actually wider than the bed, so even if one side is up against the wall, there is a 4-5 gap.He was not very pleased about going down for his nap in the bed this afternoon - what can I do? Should I make a little rail out of board of some sort and keep him in? Or will he learn eventually how big the bed is, and just stop falling out? (not likely huh?)Thanks.
- I use the standard twin sized rail on my toddlers bed. It's made to fit between a box spring and mattress and the toddler bed only has a mattress so at first I thought I wasted my money. What I did was to secure it to the bed itself using nylon cable ties, found at a hardware store. They're the pull-tab kinda thingies that once you have tight, you can't loosen. Hard to explain with words, sorry. But they keep the rail on nice and tight. I only did one side because I didn't want him falling between the wall where the wall is at a weird angle. The other side is free so that he can get in and out easy. He falls out occasionally, and is such a sound sleeper, he hardly notices.
- Q: I got aspen bedding, it Saunders all natural, no wood oils, and scent free? Good or bad?
- Good! Make sure that if you stick with wood shavings that it's always aspen.
- Q: I have a chihuahua I can I teach him to go to bed --- for him to go into his doggie bed /-- when I say go to bed
- Maybe you could place him on his dog bed and say bed, then give him a reward. Repeat this maybe 7-10 times before saying bed and seeing if he goes on it on his own. If he doesn't, don't get mad or yell at him, just go back to step one. He'll get the hang of it eventually and be able to do it without being placed on the bed. Just remember to use positive reinforcement, rewards, petting him, saying good boy!, etc. I would suggest getting some kibble (doesn't have to be anything too fancy) to reward him.
- Q: Mattress for bed frame requirements, if you use a mattress, what kind of bed frame comparison?
- Electric bedstead can adjust the pitch, the bedstead is any state so as to adapt to the needs of the human body frame
