General
This kind of product is applied to power system of three-phase, 50/60Hz as well as 35kv and below, it is the main transformer equipment of medium and small-sized transformer substation, supplies power distribution, power and illumination for the industry and agriculture.

Structural Features
Iron core
The iron core is made of high quality cold rolled silicon steel sheet, adopts the kinds of types like full-bias multi-step seam, no punched hole, winding iron core, etc.. besides, both stainless steel stay plate and epoxy glass belt are for clamping it.
Coil
High quality enameled wire that is made of oxygen free copper or paper wrapped flat copper wire is used as conductor, the coils is provided kinds of types such as drum type, spiral type, improved spiral type, continuous type and interleaved type.
Oil tank
The oil tank is of barrel type or shield type, the heat-sinking element is provided with corrugated plate or plated radiator.
Not been equipped with trolley, but there is a base that accords with national standard rail gauge welded at the bottom of box for your convenience.
Safety protection device

I practically measured the supplied voltage. It was something like 235 V AC. So I am confused about the standard figure. Is it 230 V AC or 240 V AC ?: If you measured the supply you must be in India. Why don't you call the electricity supply people and ask them what their official figure is? You should also ask them within what limits the variation is controlled. The difference in the figure stated on an item of electrical equipment, i.e. 230 vs 240, is irrelevant. They all will have a margin, maybe plus or minus 10 or 15%, within which they will work satisfactorily.

Q: I have a full-time job but would like to dabble in residential electrical work for friends and family. What would I need to do? I would like some kind of formal license and training but don't want to go back to school or commit to any long-term programs. This is in Massachusetts.: yes you would need to be someones apprentice

So water become a conductor when introduced to electronic devices and electricity follows the path of least resistance, which is no longer the desired circuit. So with the electricity being conducted into places that are not desired it often causes components to fail by overloading them with power. Electrical equipment that gets wet while not connected to power often can be used provided it is allowed to dry out completely before power is applied. For example I have been know to put keyboards in the dishwasher and as long as I wait before I used them afterwards. But pour a cup of coffee into the ketbouard while in use and generally it is toast.

Q: I need GPR equipment to locate plastic and metal pipes down to 1/2 inch diameter, with computer and GPS. What brand to buy?: Without knowing the specifics of the survey, here is my opinion. I really doubt the GPR equipment will find plastic pipes. They will not change the electrical resistivity of the ground like metal pipes would. Also, GPR is rather long wavelength so again, locating a 1/2 pipe would be fairly hard, unless you make a dense 3D grid across the area. Metal pipes are very easy. Purchase a 100$ metal detector instead of a ten thousand dollar+ GPR and computer.
