FAQ
1. What is the MOQ for this tile?
—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.
2. Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?
—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.
- Q: I don‘t want to rent a wet saw for just a few pieces of tile. And I certainly don‘t need to buy one. Do some places offer this service if so where. Thanks
- difficult situation seek on to google or bing it can assist
- Q: Balcony tile on the ground, do not know when a piece was made a small pit, but the brick has been posted for 3 months, is a cement paste, and now want to change that a brick, the location is in the middle of the ground, I ask any idea? anxious
- Only 3 months on the issue .... either is the tile problem, or else is the time to cut corners
- Q: I want to lay tile on a house I just bought. What is the difference between ceramic and porcelain tile and which one would be the best fit for my house? The tile is going to be in the living room, dinning room, and kitchen. Also, how much is it going to cost me for labor to lay down the tile? Total square feet is going to be around 600 sq ft.
- I okorder /... As far as how much it will cost to install you will need to go to home depot or lowes and get an estimate. Call around locally or ask any neighbors that have had tile installed.
- Q: I just installed a backsplash in my kitchen. It is glass mosaics with slate - 1x1. Today I began grouting and after it sat for 2 hours ( as instructed) I began wiping it down with a wet sponge. After scrubbing it for about an hour there is still a considerable amount of grout on the tiles - especially the slate. I used non sanded grout which is recommended for my tiles, but it will not come off! What can I do to remove the grout off of these tiles without scratching them? Please help. Thankyou
- Use Vinegar and Water, about 50% mix . Try to wipe each tile without getting into the grout joints. You will most likely have to repeat this with a two cup vinegar to gallon of water bath (okay to get on the grout) bathe two more times to take any lasting film off your slate. That's what I did with my tile throughout my home over a year ago and it's still shines and looks fabulous.
- Q: I am installing some mesh mounted 12x12 glass tiles sheets on one wall of my kitchen (behind the stove). I was reading online how to do it and I have a question. Some sites say to put the bottom tiles flush with the counter top and some sites say to use 1/8 spacers between the countertop and the bottom of the tiles and fill in with grout colored cauk. Which should I do? Thanks
- Definitely use the spacers and the grout caulk. By the way there is a product available that is not grout colored caulk but is actually grout caulk....it's sold at large tile stores, and is made for those areas that you're describing. The reason for using the grout caulk in that space is that there is always a certain amount of movement where the cabinet meets the wall. If there is no expansion joint which cushions that movement, something will break, and in your case it will probably be the glass tile.
- Q: We had new ceramic tiles put in the shower. The tiles are large size (12x12) and the grout line is about the width of a pencil. After a few days we noticed very thin (hairline) cracks in the grout, especially around the shower bench and the corners of the shower. The tiles are all in place. I think the contractors mixed the grout too thin. Can I just sand those areas of grout down a bit and then put new grout on top of it over those areas?
- Call the contractors back out and have them fix it. Yes, it sounds like they mixed the grout incorrectly. The tiles also shouldn't be that close together. When they set the tiles, they should have placed little plastic plus-sign-shaped spacers between all the tiles. This ensures a uniform and correct-sized grout line (about 1/4 inch for wall tiles) between all of the tiles. Seems like this tiler didn't know what he was doing. If you do try to fix it yourself, get a grout knife in the tile section of a home improvement store. This has a serrated edge to it that you use to actually grind into the grout (although it may not fit if the tiles are too close together). After you've ground out most of the grout, mix and apply a new grout. Also, look for grout that actually stays a bit flexible after it sets (I don't remember what it's called). It's good for wet areas like a shower and less susceptible to cracking.
- Q: I got thisAmerican Florim tile about a year ago and can‘t remember if was Terra cotta tile. Does it look like it to you? If so it is 320 square ft of Terra cotta 18 tile. 5 or so tiles are broken on the corners.
- You should talk to the distributor. They are the experts on their brand just check out the american florim website. Then you should be able to find one of their show rooms.
- Q: It is in my kitchen , hall and bath. Is the reason that tiling is so expensive becasue of having to remove the old tile first?
- If the existing tile is sound and not loose you can tile over it. You must use modified thin set motar adhesive. The only way to remove tile is to beat it off. Since (as you say) is is directly on wood you may get lucky and the bond is not tight. If this is the case you may get it off using a shovel to scrape and pry. If not safety glasses long sleeves, a hammer and chisel are the way to go.
- Q: Floor tile tiles a square meter how much money now?
- The price should have a regional difference, I side of a square 15 feet line one meter 12 bathroom kitchen balcony a 150 door tiles 25
- Q: I need to put a 4 inch hole in a 16 inch ceramic tile.
- There are special bits for this. And you'll need a darned heavy duty drill. Your local hardware store can show you the right stuff.
