Q:what are the top 10 stores for shopping for home and garden in the US?
I'm not sure what kind of furnishing your referring to, but I can tell you about a super place called Rubberecycle- They do things for gardening and in general the outdoors. I used them and they did a great job on my front lawn. Another place I used - for the inside, specifically for my kitchen, called Tiger Chef- they basically have everything for your kitchen- real fun place to shop. Plus they have amazing prices! Ill attach both websites- Happy Shopping!
Q:Garden Center at Home Depot?
This Site Might Help You. RE: Garden Center at Home Depot? I just got a job at The Home Depot as garden center sales associate. What're some things I'll need to learn for the job? Such as skills and knowledge of things there?
Q:What is a good gardening beginners magazine to read?
better homes and garden might have good ideas. i'd go to the library first and look at what they have book wise. they should have lots of books on all sorts of things pertaining to gardening and landscaping you can also join some of the yahoo gardening groups out there for lots of help with info, advise and you can even get free plants and seeds (might have to pay postage but that's it)
Q:Anyone have a Better Homes & Garden cookbook with retro recipes?
This is a Better Homes Gardens recipe from the 70's. It only has 3 different cheeses but I hope it is the recipe you are looking for. Baked Appetizer Crepes 12 6-inch crepes 2 beaten eggs 2 cups ricotta cheese 1 1/2 cups shredded Swiss cheese 1 10-ounce package frozen, chopped spinach, thawed and well drained. 1 1/2 cups soft bread crumbs (3 slices bread) 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1/4 tsp. black pepper dash garlic powder 1/2 cup butter or margarine 1 cup whipping cream 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese 1. Prepare crepes. In a bowl combine eggs, ricotta, Swiss cheeses and bread crumbs, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, pepper and garlic powder; mix well. Spoon about 1/3 cup filling into center of each crepe. roll up. Cut each rolled crepe crosswise into thirds. Place the pieces, cut side up, in a 2-quart baking dish. 2. In a small saucepan, melt butter, stir in cream and the remaining 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture thickens slightly. Pour the sauce over the crepes. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 18 to 20 minutes or until heated through.
Q:What I need to open a home kinder garden?
The first thing to do is to contact the department who license/registers home center. Usually the department of social services. They usually can send you information how to start and the regulations for your state.
Q:Does anyone have the Chicken ala King recipe from the 1982 version of Better Homes and Gardens New Cookbook?
This is the 1981 version, I'm sure they're the same. Sauce: Melt 6 tbs butter or margarine. Stir in 1/2 cup AP flour, 3/4 tsp salt and 1/8 tsp black pepper. Add 2 cups milk, 1 cup water, 1 tsp instant chicken boullion granules all at once. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened and bubbly, then cook and stir for 2 minutes more. Stir in 2 cups cooked cubed chicken or turkey, 1 4 oz can of mushroom stems and pieces, drained and 1/4 cup chopped pimiento. Heat through and serve over toast points, toasted English muffins or baked patty shells. serves 4. Add 1/2 cup shredded American cheese as an option.
Q:No grounded outlets in rental home!! Help!!?
Buy the adapters but be sure to attach the little metal tab that sticks out from it to the screw on the outlet cover. On the older two prong outlets the electrical box for the outlet is supposed to be grounded through the conduit. That is why the adapter has that little tab. Most people don't attach it or just break it off. This is wrong.
Q:Pleaze tell me `How to plant gardens'!!!!!!!!?
I would suggest a container garden. You can grow many vegetables and herbs in containers, just place the containers in the sun and use containers tall enough so your dogs can't use them for toilets.
Q:How can i get a water flower at home or garden?
By water flower, you mean a water lily, or water hyacinth, or the like? You can make a small water garden yourself by making a small pond, or even lining a half barrel, or other large container, and making a small container water garden. The garden center near me stocks water garden plants starting around May 1st (too cold right now), but if you live someplace warm, you may be able to find them earlier. You can also mail order online, as water lilies can be shipped dormant very easily.
