- Green plants will of course die or go dormant without any light. - zero's are excellent decks but not the lightest out there. They have a mild concave which is great for learning on and probably the most durable. Lots of people will tell you they arelight because if they're a good skater they don't need a light deck. If you want a nice light deck I recommend a resin 7 deck either from almost, blind, enjoi or darkstar. They're light and very strong nd thats 4 different brands you can choose from all of them very good brands, or go for another hi-tech style deck like the darkstar armorlight, element push, or a fiberlame deck.

- usually 12 on and 12 off should be fine. I turn em on when I get up, and off when I go to bed. If I'll be gone most of the day I just leave them off. Gives em a chance to de-stress from the day and saves money on the electric bill.

- No. The only difference between a quartz halogen lamp and a conventional incandescent lamp is that the halogen lamps contain a tiny bit of iodine. The iodine combines with tungsten, deposited on the bulb by evaporation from the filament, combines with it to form tungsten iodide which promptly evaporates (the bulb has to be hot for this to work, so quartz is used), and when the compound gets near the hot filament, it decomposes, depositing the tungsten back on the filament. So, such bulbs can operate at higher temperatures and last longer than conventional ones.

- Your headlights. The parking lights are for a rare situation if you're parking where there's poor lighting and you want to make your car more visible (obviously for short periods of time), they will draw less from the battery than the headlights.
