Q:I usually iron them when I want to wear them but it would be easier if I ironed a lot at a time. What works best for you?
I iron right before I wear it. I have small closets and if I iron it before I hang it up it tends to get wrinkles again anyways! Sometimes if I am being lazy and it isn't too badly wrinkled I just toss it in the dryer on low heat for 5 minutes then hang it up while I take my shower. That works most of the time :)
Q:My doctor says I have low iron and it can lead to an anemia. The values are 180 but I don‘t know the normal values of iron I should have.I am a 26 y old woman.
Normal value for iron is 60-170 mcg/dL (mcg/dl micrograms per deciliter) www.nlm.nih /medlineplus/ency/. I am assuming your value of '180' is the TIBC. Total iron binding capacity. Normal value is 240-450 mcg/dL The causes of iron deficiency could be: Blood loss (including from heavy menstrual bleeding) Poor absorption of iron by the body Too little iron in the diet Make sure your doctor knows about all the medications you are taking. Some medicines can interfere with test results. Drugs that can raise TIBC include fluorides and birth control pills. Drugs that can lower TIBC include ACTH and chloramphenicol. Before any treatment is commenced there should be definitive diagnosis of the underlying cause for iron deficiency, so, you need an assessment from your doctor. Your doctor will prescribe you an iron supplement to help restore the iron which is missing from your body. The most commonly prescribed supplement is ferrous sulphate. This supplement is taken orally, up to three times a day. www.nhs.uk/Conditions/Anaemia-iro.
Q:I have to take calcium and vitamin B twice a day, as well as iron tablets, also twice a day. I am told calcium prevents absorbtion of iron. What should be the interval between the calcium tablets and the iron tablets? Is one hour enough?
Actually there has been no formal study information that says calcium prevents iron absorbtion. Some books say its the other way around. The only food substance proven to prevents iron absorbtion is soy, phytates, and polyhenols. And that only if your a vegan. If that doesnt make you feel better, wait 4 hours between supplements if they are solid, and 2 hours if they are gel capsules or drink. Hope that helps
Q:Hi, I have always been a big fan of Iron man and Robert Downey Jr ever since the first Iron Man movie came out. Recently I have read rumours that Tony Stark will be replaced by some one else soon, and that it is almost like Batman or James Bond where the people keep changing.Do you think it is an good idea if they replace Robert Downey Jr in Iron man??I have always seen Iron man as Tony Stark and I don‘t think it would suit it if someone other was playing the role of Iron Man.What are your opinions on the future of Iron man?
No, it's an awful idea Robert plays tony excellently and shouldn't stop but I'm assuming it's because Disney bought Marvel so instead of it being Marvel's Iron Man 3 it was Disney's Iron Man 3
Q:Can you please explain the Iron Triadfrom the periodic table?
Iron, Ruthenium, and Osmium, Triad because it's three elements in a group for the transition metals.
Q:Need to know asap before thursday and if you could find me the chemical structure and formula for iron also You would be really helping me out alot?Thx
your body need iron to produce red blood cells which carry oxygen to all the tissues in your body. as for the rest of your assignment, google is your friend.
Q:What is the difference between malleable iron and wrought iron? Can malleable iron be made into jewlery? Where can I buy malleable iron?
Malleable iron is the oldest member of the family of nodular irons. Like all nodular irons, malleable iron exhibits good ductility. Incorrectly considered by some to be an old or dead material, malleable iron still has a legitimate place in the design engineer's toolbar. Malleable is the iron of choice for small castings or castings with thin cross sections (less than .25). Other nodular irons tend to be difficult to produce in these applications. Malleable iron is also preferred for castings seeing duty in low temperature environments since it retains its ductility better than other nodular irons at low temperatures. Used for small castings requiring good tensile strength and the ability to flex without breaking (ductility). Electrical fittings, hand tools, pipe fittings, washers, brackets, fence fittings, power line hardware, farm equipment, mining hardware, and machine parts. Wrought iron is commercially pure iron. In contrast to steel, it has a very low carbon content. It is a fibrous material due to the slag inclusions (a normal constituent). This is also what gives it a grain resembling wood, which is visible when it is etched or bent to the point of failure. Wrought iron is tough, malleable, ductile and easily welded. Examples of items that used to be produced from wrought iron include: rivets, chains, railway couplings, water and steam pipes, raw material for manufacturing of steel, nuts bolts, horse shoe bars, handrails, straps for timber roof trusses, boiler tubes, and ornamental ironwork.
Q:I‘m changing irons soon and going to blades. I hit my old irons pretty well and now need to gain some accuracy. Which of the game enhancement irons should i get? (For example MP-62, MP-68, MP-58)Also, are the MP-57 and MP-60 cavity backs?
Any one will work, you can buy a universal one from advance auto or autozone. As for power you will only gain 3 HP on your car. You will need to open your exhaust up to get like a 10 HP gain with the cold air intake
Q:Currently I‘m playing Titleist DCI 962 Irons which are around 10 years old and have been heavily used. I know blade iron technology hasn‘t advanced much but would I lose any distance using these iron compared to a new set of very similar irons?
Sounds like a case for caller i.d. to me! Don't answer the phone. Don't open the door. Use the deadbolt. Good luck! I'm tired of hurting all over, myself.
