There is NO plant based source of B12. None. Protein is easiest to get as all veggies, whole grains, nuts, seeds, and legumes contain protein. As long as you eat a wide and varied diet you will get plenty of protein. Iron is a little more difficult as plant based iron isn't absorbed as well as meat iron. Spinach is a good source but must be cooked and served with a vitamin C food to aid in absorption. Whole wheat cereals are also good sources but also must be served with a vitamin C food. Beans are a good source of iron too. Basically, again if you eat a wide and varied diet you should be fine unless you skip beans, hate greens and have bought into the whole gluten free nonsense.

Carbon. Steel is basically just iron but in steel there are many small crystals of Carbon mixed with the iron. Steel is not necessarily better in most cases, but the things that are good about steel is that Carbon has a very high melting point so steel does to. Because cystalized carbon are quite stif, if you harden steel properly it can become very hard.

If you're a meat eater, then find the reddest meat you can find. Some even like lambs fry-kidney, but the taste is rather strong. IF you're a vegetarian, then take some iron pills with vitamin C at the same time. You should also find out why your iron level is so low.

These iron scavenging proteins can rip iron away from the environment.whether that be a host organisms (like us) or some mud puddle. iron deficiency; another words Anemia. It means that your body loses more red blood cells. It just means you need more iron in your body. I suggest you go to the doctor and see how low of an iron you have in your blood. Maybe it is low enough where you must take iron supplement. On the other hand, you can just eat more foods with iron in them. Like liver, lean meat, sea food, and anything green. Spinach is very rich in iron. Usually people with Anemia feel weak and tired all the time. I have Anemia (Iron deficiency) for two years now.
Q:I know you can get over the top drugs such as Vitamins and Iron is one of those over the top drugs and I was wondering if it would be ok if I took iron pills even though I havent seen a doctor? It would be much better if you consider taking a good multi vitamin instead of taking an iron pill (some thing like Centrum is great) Iron pills are naturally OK but in some cases they can poison you if it is high in iron concentration. There fore a good multi vitamin is great because it has some thing of every thing which your body needs (meaning all the essential vitamins and minerals) I am anemic and my doctor lets me take this multi vitamin cause iron pills tend to make my tummy ache
