They r expensive, know however that often when a diagnostic is run and egr is the read out alot of times its an O2 sensor(oxgyen sensor), the egr and O2 sensors work together so its hard for a computer to idenitify the exact prob, u can take ur van 2 an exhaust shop and have them inspect it.
