I usually have a hard time sleeping away from home, but one time my husband and I stayed at The Comfort Inn and I slept so well I wanted to take the bed home.

Q:Hey, I've been shopping for a new bed and a lot of the nice ones I'm finding are very low down, is this a trendy thing or do people just think shorter beds look nicer? Thanks

I've just bought a new bed and yes, it is low and now I'm sitting in bed only a few feet off the ground. I'm guessing they're trendy, kind of Japanese influence, but they look great in situ as they aren't the focus of attention in your bedroom. If you want a higher bed go for the traditional divan, but I'm v happy with my low slung bed.

You can't really add JUST the beds, to the insurance - you'd modify your current policy to add the bed exposure. And a policy that covers tanning beds is probably going to START at $2500. You might want to check with your current insurer - if you're on a bop, they will most likely cancel you if you get tanning beds.

Q:I want to buy some bedding from an american internet site but the sizing is confusing me. i want to buy a quilt set for a single bed for my son but I can only find twin size. Is twin the same as the uk single or is it bigger? They also mention a sham, what is one of these? Thanx in advance.

A twin bed and a single bed are essentially the same thing. A sham is a decorative pillow cover (not the same as a pillowcase).

Q:Or if they are old enough do they make it themselves? What about your bed?

My kids are ages 7, 6, 4 and 3 all make their own beds and have pretty much since they got into toddler beds. Either my husband or I make our bed in the morning--usually whoever gets up last, which is almost always him. Sometimes we'll pay a token (for our chore system, we pay the kids with tokens that they can use to play video games) for one of the kids to make our bed and they are usually very eager to help out.

Solid wood furniture generally hedge, if the material is good, well made, there is still a lot of room for appreciation.

Undoing the damage that you have already done is going to be a feat in itself! Don't put her in your bed to begin with! She has insecurities about sleeping by herself and it's your fault. Put her in her bed at night and tell her that she is to sleep there. If she cries, let her, if she gets out of bed, put her right back in it. It will take you a while, but that's the only thing you can do. Also, keep your door open, but put a baby gate in front of the door, so she can't get in...you will be able to hear her cry and simply get up and put her back in her own bed!

Q:I just bought a new bed and a mattress set. The mattress is a Sealey pillow top really nice. I love the bed and it is not a high bed but when they set it up the box springs made the bed come up to my waist. I feel like the princess and the pea this bed is way to high. I mean I have to climb to get on this thing. I called the store and they told me they can give me a low volume bed spring and it would lower it about 4 inches really is that really enough to bother with cause I am going to have to pay somebody to swap it. What can I do?

If the height of the bed really bothers you then you must do something about it. Four inches is a significant amount when you are trying to get in bed.
