Q:Okay, I have medium length hair it's thinWhat's the best type to get at walmart for $30 and under, and it heats up really really fast and works really good and it's the thin type(:
A $40 flat iron won't be any better than a $30, and I personally think there are several really quality flat irons for that priceI would recommend the Ceramic Tools CT2555 1-inch ceramic flat iron (I've linked to it below)Make sure that you do not set the heat to the highest settingBecause you have thin hair, you could cause a lot of damage that wayDo buy a heat protecting spray for your hair and use it before you start using the flat ironIt will be called heat protecting spray, or thermal spray, or something like thatIt is EXTREMELY importantOtherwise your hair will end up of feeling like straw, trust me on that oneWhen straightening your hair, split it into sections and iron each section, making sure not to keep going over each section several timesThis can also cause damageAlso make sure your hair is completely dry before straightening your hairIf this is an issue, there are wet-to-dry irons availableHave fun!
Q:just had my gallbladder removed 6 days ago it was an emergency surgery my recovery is not going well i had the laproscopic procedure anything anone can tell me thanks alot
Epdm roofing or rubber roofing
Q:So I pretty much have all of the stitches down, I know how to read patterns and which hooks and all the other stuff that goes with knitting and crochetingBut all of my stuff comes out so stiff!!! I try to make a slouchy beanie, and when I put them on, they stick straight up! I end up looking like Marge Simpson! Does anyone out there know of any other yarn that I can use besides the crappy quot;Red Heart Super Saverquot; yarn? Yes it's very cheap and you can pick it up at Wal-Mart at any time of the night, but I would gladly take the time to go out and look for soft, less scratchy, loose yarn and doesn't (for lack of a better term) suckAnd by the way, I'm still unfamiliar with the terms quot;worsted weight, alpaca, wool, etc.quot; I really don't know the differenceI would love some advice )
If you wind the ball tight, as in it is a rock hard, then yes it will damage the yarnIf wound in a loose ball, then no, it will do no more damage than when it was in the skeinIt will be fine.
Q:Does anyone know of any events or decisions in history that we think as good decisions, but they were actually made for bad reasonsFor example, Henry VIII split from the Church which led to the Christian reformation, but he didn't split because he was sick of the Church or worried about the faith, but he did so because he wanted a divorce and the Church doesn't allow itAnyone know of any decisions in history or war made for bad, irrational, or dumb decisions? A woman, greed, jealousy? Thank you.
Basically what one might call a happy accident another wards I 2nd the 2 who pointed out Christopher Columbus and the founding of America- That might be ethnocentric of me, since I live in Americabut they are good points I don't know if you want to count this as events in History or notBut many Scientific advancements were made by accident SUPPOSEDLY - the invention of Post-It Notes was developed after a chemist tried to formulate a glue to attach the Space Shuttle's ceramic thermal shield to the bottom of the shuttleThe glue he formulated was very weak, but after playing around with it for a whilePost-Its were created That might be urban legendbut I'm sure there are other examples of happy accidents in history
Q:I've always been curiousI guess what sparked my interested was seeing immitation carbon fiber (a dark gray plastic panel checked) hahaThanks in advance
From what I have seen, blown cellulose insulation is just as effective as fiberglassAs long as they both have the same R factor, they will both work the sameBut, cellulose is usually made of recycled products and is itself recyclable.
Q:I want to start using everyday items in my productions (house hold items, outside sounds, animal sounds, etc,.) like Matthew Hebert (producer of quot;Scalequot;, quot;Bodily Functionsquot;, quot;Plat Du Jourquot;).I'm going so be sampling these sounds and using them as the actual instruments (drums and otherwise)Can you offer advice, web links, etc,.??????
When I make pies, I poke the pie crust with a fork to let air escape and I brush the inside of the bottom crust with beaten egg, which is supposed to seal out the moisture to some extentIt may help to pre-bake your crust; most lemon meringue pie recipes I have seen call for a pre-baked crust, so that may be your issueIt might also just be that these crusts don't hold up well and you need to try a different option
Q:I mean, a nonexpensive wayAnd dont say knitting or crocheting, i mean real fabric cloth like on a T-shirt.
im madder than pork radish turkey stuck in an old widow tree ready to be melested by a person.
Q:of junk in itHowever, there's a big space in the back with no clutter whatsoeverI REALLY badly want to create it into a hangout space for friends and IThe thing is that there are pipes and fiberglass exposed everywhere on the floor, in fact, there really is no floorI really would like to put in flooring, even just wooden boards; I don't care what goes on the floorThe cielings are about 5 feet high so I don't want to make the floor too bulkyWould it work with the pipe sticking right out, unleveled? Should I call someone to take a look at it and see if they can floor it up? How much would that cost about? BTW the pipes aren't those thin steel pipes, they are big and fluffy, like memory foamI think they're some type of insulation?
Dude it would take thousands to make it habitable, as the other guy stated the ceiling joist weren't designed to take the load of people walking up there, so you need to re-engineer itThis would most probably lift the floor by 6 inches at least, which would need the roof lifted, because you wouldn't have enough head heightSo you'd need to re-engineer the roof In short, it would be much cheaper to buy a cheap pre-loved caravan and put it in your back yard to hang out inP.STrying you just lay ply up there will at best cause the ceiling lining to crack and at worse cave in.
Q:I'm looking to find some decently priced sound insulation, for a music studio, that I can fill my exposed walls with in the basementThe wooden beams are about 1.5ft apart and are currently filled with Johns Manville Thermal and Sound Insulation.Any tips that won't break the bank?
not really ,unless you are adding in spicy or garlicky stuff when you are making food to eat
