Cables design

Conductor : the conductor consist of annealed copper wire complies with DIN VDE 0295/IEC60228 class five. The construction of conductor is special designed and special flexible.

Insulation: EPR rubber with excellent mechanical and electrical performance.

Core identification: according to DIN VDE 0293(HD308).

Sheath: PCP rubber or other equivalent compound with property of oil resistance, low temperature flexible and weather resistance.

Sheath color: Black.

However, a lot of people will disagree. For induction between power and signal wire to occur, a form of AC must be introduced on the DC power wire. One solution, if you want to run them together, is to have good shielded RCA cables and/or to separate the RCA wires and twist them (as in twisted pair wire, twisted pair wire is used in CAT3, CAT5 and CAT6 communication wire to eliminate noise/interference/induction). I would like to point out that overvoltage transients and induction are two totally different things in their respective terms. Overvoltage transients are caused by motors and relays turning on/off. Induction occurs exactly what happens in an AC transformer. But in this case, AC isn't an issue since it's a DC power source. Granted, induction is probable, but not likely due to the insignifacant level of voltage produced plus the sheilding of the RCA cables.

A molex does not provide enough energy for modern graphics card, so the 6 pin was invented. There is an 8 pin pci-e power connector, which is an upgrade of the 6 pin, and it provides the graphics card with more energy. Most modern power supplies come with 6 pin connectors.

Here's so helpful info - Computers are built with a power supply just barely able to power them as they are. A video card of any kind requires an upgrade of the power supply. If you don't upgrade the power supply, very nasty things can happen (I found this out the hard way! :O). Even the video cards that don't have extra power connections can draw up to 75 watts from the motherboard - that power has to come from somewhere! :D I recommend 750 watts, major name brand, semi-modular or full modular, 80+ rated, single 12 volt rail, active PFC, and so on. It's always best to have more power than you need. Power supplies are happiest running below their maximum, and they live much longer lives. You don't want to have to buy a whole new power supply in a few years just because you skimped today, do you? :O You MUST buy a power supply to feed your system plus video card! :) REMEMBER - Even the video cards that don't have extra power connections can draw up to 75 watts from the motherboard!! :O ~Helpful ~Cindy! :)
