- Around here there is limited demand for it. Scrap prices mostly. Sad, but not too many people can use it and often it's 3 phase and requires an industrial area to set up. Newer shops don't want to fuss with tuning and repairing it and are more likely to go with CNC units or multi-function European machines. There are a few people that like the old iron Around here it would be called a jointer and thickness planer.
