Q:I have a problem here.A certain crane loads trucks, the time it takes to load is a normal distribution and has a mean of 10 and a standart deviation of 1,5So if I have two cranes?? The mean will be 5, but what will be the standart deviation??P.SI'm also not sure if the mean will be changed to 5 I just think so
The mean will definitely half, as two cranes would require less time to move the trucksEach crane will also follow a standard deviation halved (So of 0.75), as the likelihood of each truck having values very far away from the mean becomes less tooThis is because the likelihood of having 11 or 9 trucks was quite probable, however as 4 and 6 are much higher portions of the average value of 5, the S.Dmust go down accordingly However, the product of both likelihoods, means the cranes collectively will follow a probability distribution with S.Dof 1.5Both cranes have smaller probabilities of having a value of trucks different to 5, but as both have probabilities of not having 5 trucks each, the product of the two cranes together will be a stretched out normal distribution, with the original S.Dof 1.5 This means, two cranes halves the time taken, but doesn't effect the likelihood of finishing in certain times.
Q:On both bridge and eucher it freezes from time to timeMicrosoft says it is not their fault.????
blast freezerstick them on a wire tray nicely separated and toss the tray in a blast freezer or the coldest freezer you have access tofast freezing reduces ice crystals from forming too big
Q:then got replaced by an inefficient machine during industrial revolution and is now evovled into an efficient machine with little or no human interaction needed and later has the potential to not need any assistance from humans at allIts for a paper im trying to find an examplei was thinking about doing on regualr agriculture like a simple scythe to a huge tractor and so on but i was hoping to get maybe a better example if anyone can help.
Not sure how far back you want to go into historyThere are hundreds of examplesLet’s take a real simple one: War - yes, warIn the very old days (think bible, Romans, our war of Independence) then came machines like tanks and planes and bigger bombsIt now took less people to cause major damageIn today’s time, all it takes now is one person to push a button and the death of millions will soon happenFarming - it took less and less people to farm as time went onFrom horse drawn plows, to the steam powered tractors, and now with GPS a tractor can plow without anybody operatingMoving goods from one place to anotherA ship loaded with cargo arrives in portThe unloading was done by hand with the help of a pulley system, then came steam powered cranes, and now just about everything is shipped in those containersIt goes from the ship to truck or rail and on its wayHere is a good one: CommunicationsMany years ago the only way to communicate with somebody was to talk directly to them or via a messengerThe fastest that message could go was at the speed of a horseThen came steam trains, steam shipsTo get a message from New York to London still took a week or soThat letter could only go as fast as that shipThen along came the telegraph, but it still took a lot of human effort to relay that messageThen we had the phone and now we have E-mailOther than having to maintain the equipment, there is no real hard working human making it workIf you go to Japan for a vacation and you want to send your mom a letter or even a video of your fun time in Japan, then it all takes place in the blink of an eye with only you and your mom doing any work at all.
Q:My annoying neighbor is always putting there smelly trash in front of there door and I hate it because I live in the apartment across from her(yes apartment)Last time they put the box of there flat screen TV in from of there house and it was getting in the wayAfter asking tons of times to stop that I decided to take the box and put it in front of there door so they HAVE to move itAfter that I heard them saying in the hallway that i'm an ahole(They said it on the phone and didn't know that I heard it)Shortly after that They put a letter in in my mail box saying that i'm a coward and very childishAccording to them I need to move If there stuff bothers me so much.Am I really the coward here? and do I need to move? because in my point of view they have no right to say such thing in a letter instead of in my face.
I'm a little confused because you said you both live in an apartment and then they put the box in front of their house and it was in the way? Anyway, if you approached them face to face and politely asked them to stop putting smelly stuff close to your door and they didn't listen you were being matureThen when you take action yourself they put a letter in your mailbox and they call you the coward? You were the adult in the situationDont' get angry, just do what you need to do and they will get the messageLet them call you what they wantStill be polite though when you see them because that just kills people when they can't get under your skinMaybe later on they will grow up and everything will be cool (or you will just have a nasty neighbor).

Q:I hear a typical crane or tractor trailer is about 100 tons.
This is not really a math question even though it has numbersI make no recommendation on the website I found but it says: The average weight for a compact vehicle, like a Honda Civic, is about 3,000 to 4,500 poundsOn average, mid-range cars like the Nissan Maxima, weigh between 4,000 and 5,500 poundsLight duty trucks, sport utility vehicles, large cars, and minivans, such as the Toyota Sienna, can weigh from 5,000 to 7,000 poundsHeavy pick-up trucks and large sport utility vehicles like the Cadillac Escalade sometimes weigh as much as 12,000 pounds.

If the roof you're tying into is thermoplastic, be careful because of the fact the asphalt might react with that and degrade itwith out seeing it, i might examine with community contractors that are NRCA contributorsOr, to be secure, you could positioned a slip sheet down on the plastic roof so the asphalt does not at as quickly as touch itJason Popovich
Q:Are there any jobs like ship captain, commercial pilot, rescue helicopter pilot etc that one could do with a lazy eyePlz only serious answersThx.
