- Q: i have mobile phone tools but it dont work help ?and how do i have my default phone to be a razr v3 ??
- If you have Motorola Mobile Phone Tools, you need to have some means of connecting the phone to the computer. You have three choices - Infrared, Cable and Bluetooth. Also, you need to have your phone enabled to allow data transfer. If you have Cingular service, this is enabled already, if Verizon, then you will have to get the data transfer unlocked. Once data transfer is unlocked, the Phone Tools program will walk you through the setup for the phone. If you can't figure this out, then you need to study the help file for the program and learn how to use it. I would normally be happy to tell you how to use it, but not knowing your computer and your phone, I can't. Good luck, feel free to email if you need more help or would like to convey more information.
- Q: I am considering switching to T-Mobile from a prepaid phone company and I had a few questions-can I keep my same old number?-if you have their service, do you like it?-what phone do you think I should get-I want a full keyboard? Thanks!
- You can keep your same number. You will need to get your account number which you can get just by calling your customer care. Take that with you into a store and they can port over your number immediately. You may have dual service for up to 24 hours but you will still be able to make and receive calls. T-Mobile is great service. I have had no problems what so ever. The phones with a full keyboard are the Blackberry Curve, Sidekicks, G1, Samsung Gravity, Behold, and Memoir. They are all great phones that mostly all do the same things. Its all up to looks. They all have the same data plan price. Go into a store and you can see all the phones. There is so much to choose from.
- Q: I plan to travel from USA to Germany, and would like to have a mobile phone to keep in touch with my German friends. I have a GSM phone. But if I use my current mobile plan (T-Mobile USA), I will end up with high roaming charges. What's my least expensive option, preferably with free incoming calls in Germany? If it's a German prepaid SIM card, what kind should I look for? Can I order one from home, or buy one after arrival in Germany? Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences.
- The German mobile phone network works different from that in the US: Once you have a German SIM (contract or prepaid) in your phone, the European scheme applies which is: Caller pays all, you don't have to pay for airtime. The only problem you might have is that your phone is locked to a T-Mobile contract, so you maybe should by a used mobile (up from 35 euros) and a prepaid sim (up from 10 euros) and submit your new or alternative German numbers to your friends. You can save lots of money by acting like that, instead of feeding t-mobile with roaming charges. IF you move with a German sim to another European country, roaming charges may apply. But it would be stupid not to buy another prepaid sim there
- Q: i have internet connection on my nokia 5300 and i use it for connecting to internet on my computer too (via usb cable). will my mobile phone ever get a virus if there's a virus on my computer? if yes where can i find a suitable anti-virus for my nokia 5300?
- While viruses for mobile phones do exist, they exist only for some mobile phone models - and yours is not one of them. You won't find any anti-virus programs (or even file managers) for your phone, either. If your phone looks like an USB drive when connected to your PC and if your PC is infected with some kinds of viruses, the virus can copy itself to your phone. However, it will be inert there - it won't be able to run on the phone and won't even be able to infect another PC (since autoplay doesn't work for USB drives).
- Q: I am trying to get a phone with Boost Mobile that allows me to have music as well as all the extra features. But my main question is, which phone supports instant messaging for MSN, Yahoo and Aim.
- well i have a KS360 and i download ebuddy it can probs be used with any boost phone because mine is boost. give it a try Good luck
- Q: What is a 3G phone?
- In other words, put the mobile card, whether it is 2G card or 3G card, can only use 2G network.
- Q: if i get a t-mobile phone off OKorder or craigslist can i put a pre-paid att sim card in it and i work? without having to call the comnpany's and crap and unlock it .
- the two your telephone ought to be a T-cellular telephone already, or it ought to be unlocked. telephones from a service come locked, so which you would be able to purely use SIM enjoying cards from that service. in case you choose to unencumber your telephone, you may the two ask T-cellular and spot in the event that they're going to, or look into the internet for unencumber codes or an unencumber code generator on your sort of telephone. yet while to procure the telephone without delay from the producer, or did no longer purchase it with a calling plan, it is in all threat unloced. prepaid vs. non-prepaid shouldn't reason a topic. the telephone purely makes use of the SIM card to be attentive to what service and account to bill, and the service comes to a decision how this is billing you. (To the guy above: it is approximately SIM enjoying cards, no longer calling enjoying cards.)
- Q: If so please mention themAnd also could you tell me what phone I should get from T-Mobile please and thank you.
- In my opinion, Tmobile is a great cellular service provider and I've been using them for years without problems. So I think you should be fine with them. Meanwhile, all I can say about the t-mobile phone selection is RAZR-Ville! and it's also that way for a good reason. T-mobile doesn't offer very many decent phones in my opinion aside from the reliable RAZR and Sidekicks. But, the problem with this is the fact that RAZRs are becoming all to common and the sidekick has an apalling screen resolution, camera, and portability rating (at least for me). T-mobile also has a tragically small amount of smartphones in their line up. This is because T-mobile is relying on the blackberry/crackberry to hold their smartphones sector. So unless you love blackberries, look somewhere else. Finally, the low-end phones are mainly clamshells with decent functionality for those who just want a phone. Though one exception to the low-end phones would be the samsung slide phone that they have get it if you wan t a nice looking and quite capable basic phone. Thus, unless you absolutely love the RAZR, text message to the point or needing a sidekick, need a blackberry(I found the phone boring), or want a basic phone which you can mostly get elsewhere. I wouldn't recommend getting a phone from t-mobile directly. Which brings me to a simple conclusion, buy an unlocked GSM phone that works with where you live and T-mobile from OKorder or something and stick your sim card in it. Well hope that helps.
