Aluminium Foil For Different Use

1) Structure of Aluminium Foil Description

The first use of foil in the United States was in 1913 for wrapping Life Savers, candy bars, and gum. Processes evolved over time to include the use of print, colour, lacquer, laminate and the embossing of the aluminium.

In the United States, foils are commonly gauged in thousandths of an inch or mils. Standard household foil is typically 0.016 mm (0.63 mils) thick, and heavy duty household foil is typically 0.024 mm (0.94 mils). The foil is pliable, and can be readily bent or wrapped around objects. Thin foils are fragile and are sometimes laminated to other materials such as plastics or paper to make them more useful. Aluminium foil supplanted tin foil in the mid 20th century.

Q: I am helping my cousin with his science project and its quot;what materials keep ice from melting for the longest time?quot;Im using 3 ice cubes, alluminum foil, plastic wrap, and paper towel.Im going to wrap an ice cube in each and leave them on the kitchen table for 45 minutes.I need to know what are the dependent variables and independent variablesHelp please!
The dependent variable is the time it takes to completely melt one ice-cube, ?since the TIME DEPENDS on what the ice is wrapped inSo the independent ?variable is the material used aluminum foil ??The problem is that you can't plot an (x, y) point without two numbersTime ?is a number but aluminum foil isn't??You can make a bar graph where each vertical bar is a different material ?and the height of each bar is the melting time
Q: She is 6 years old and has begun spraying any vertical surfacesI have tried placing aluminum foil in some of her frequent spray areas, thinking that the sound of the foil would deter her, but no luckShe still targets those placesI have also had my upholstered furniture cleaned to remove any smell of her urineI am at my wits end! Any suggestions?
is she fixed? take her to the vet and see what's wrongdoes she have enough litter in the litter box? in the pet stores they'll tell you which litter cats just love, that might help.
Q: aluminum jon boat
any marine supply store that sells Pettit or Interlux will work.......West Marine is the Home Depot of marine stores there MUST be one near you! Aluminum is tricky...read the can's directions for alum and follow them exactly....my experience is zinc chromate is the best primer for aluminum, and whatever you do DON'T put copper based anti fouling paint on the bottom......even in fresh water it will eat holes in no time!
Q: im adding some cooling rails on my snowmobile that would fit along side my foot boardsi need to bent the railsthey are made of hollow aluminumi was wondering how cani do this without cracking iti only need to bend it about 3/4 of an inch.
Berries are high in fiber as well as the forgotten guavaMost people don't know that guava has the most fiber per serving, than any other fruitDon't forget about dried fruits.their lack of water concentrates their fiber content, so reach for the raisins, dried apricots, figs, dates and prunesAlmost all fruit is high in fiberYou get alot more if you eat the skinResist peeling apples, plums, peaches.they're much better for you if you eat their jackets.
Q: The few times I have tried to make one, the middle of the cake or a pineapple ring sticks to the pan, leaving part of the cake with no brown sugarHow do I make sure that the whole cake gets coated with the brown sugar and butter? I don't need a recipe; I like the recipe I haveJust some tips on how to get it out of the pan.
Use a cast iron skillet the size for your recipePlace your melted butter and brown sugar in pan before adding pineapple slices, cherries for the center of the slices then your cake mixThe iron skillet ( hopefully a seasoned skillet) will conduct the heat more evenly making it a lovely golden brown when done and turned over on an appropriate cake plateFailing that use a glass pan making sure all areas are covered with the butter after spraying with Pam, or line your cake pan with Aluminum Foil and spray with Pam then proceed as usualWhen the cake cools somewhat turn over and while still warm slowly remove the foil.
Q: thanks
aluminium chloride is a typical ionic bond because the one atom of aluminium is donating its three electron to the three atom of ChlorineSo it has no covalent characteristicsAll its characteristics are ionic that is it can be used as an electrolyte, it has high melting and boiling point and e.t.c.
Q: DONquot;T waste my time and say quot;i don't smoke potquot; or quot;you shouldn't smoke weedquot;i have been doing weed sense i was in middle school (i just graduated high school).me and my friends were talking and they said they weren't high their fist time.i remember my first time and i was soooooo high i think i started freaking out (but now i'm better with it)so were you high your first time?
It could be a squirel ro a ratCall in an exterminatorThey can take care of animals as well as bugs.
Q: How does the capacitor work and how do i use it?
The amount of capacitance you created with foil is probably pretty smallWhen you connect a volt meter to it, the meter's leakage current discharges itIdeally meters have infinite resistance, so when you make a measurement no current flows, but real meters, the kind you can actually buy, have finite resistance, so when you measure your capacitor, actually discharge itThere's a formula that's handy: icdv/dtI is current in amps, C is capacitance in farads and dv/dt is the change in capacitor voltage per secondYou probably created 300 pF of capacitanceCharged to 9V with your batteryA typical meter might be drawing 1 micro-amp, so solving for dv/dt you find the capacitor's voltage will change by 3,333 volts/second when you connect the meter to itNEVER I REPEAT NEVER connect anything to an outletYou will hurt yourself badly either with a bad shock, or burnsLastly, don't confuse static electricity (the kind generated by running materials together) with current electricityThey are completely different animals.
Q: will steel aluminum and copper rust faster in salt water
Salt water tends to rust more quickly, as a result of the electro-chemical reactionsThe rusting of iron is an electrochemical process that begins with the transfer of electrons from iron to oxygen. The rate of corrosion is affected by water and accelerated by electrolytesIn the case of copper it will last longer specially if it is a copper-nickel alloy, however the saltwater will accelerate the rusting process.
