Introduction
Aluminum foil is aluminum prepared in thin metal leaves with a thickness less than 0.2 millimetres (8 mils); thinner gauges down to 6 micrometres (0.24 mil) are also commonly used. In the United States, foils are commonly gauged in thousandths of an inch or mils. Standard household foil is typically 0.016 mm (0.63 mil) thick, and heavy duty household foil is typically 0.024 mm (0.94 mil). The foil is pliable, and can be readily bent or wrapped around objects. Thin foils are fragile and are sometimes lamilated to other materials such as plastics or paper to make them more useful. Aluminum foil supplanted tin foil in the mid 20th century.

- You are wrongThe heat is passed from the metal to the air via convection not via conduction within the metalNow Aluminium is not as dense as steel so that a block of the same size will not hold as much heatBut it has a higher specific heat so that a block of the same mass will hold more heat than the steelThe amount of heat determines the final temperature of the roomThe rate of heating is more dependent upon the nature of the surface ( rough or smooth, large or small area) and the shape which affects the speed of the air movement( fast moving air shifts more heat more quickly than slow moving air)

- I just use aluminum foil, you can look it up on YouTube, you just need a marker and some foil and you're setBut definitely look into just getting a cheap bowl from the smoke shop, it's better than using homemade

- I cook small turkey breasts in my Crock-Pot slow cookerI add about 2 cups of water or broth with the turkey breast and cook it on high until the internal temperature registers 165°F, which usually takes 2 to 3 hours (start checking the internal temperature at 2 hours)The texture is excellent and the juices can be thickened for gravyIf you don't have a slow cooker or just prefer the texture of an oven baked turkey, how I have done that in the past (before discovering the ease of slow-cooker cooking and that it's easier to clean a slow cooker than to clean the oven): Preheat the oven to 325°Put the turkey breast on a meat-cooking rack and put the rack into a roasting pan or baking panPut a loose tent of aluminum foil over the turkey and a cup of water or broth into the panPut the pan in the ovenAfter about an hour, take the tent off the turkeyAt 2 hours, check the internal temperatureIf the turkey is done, take it outIf the turkey is not done, but the skin (if there is skin) is browned, put the tent back on and put it back in the ovenCheck the internal temperature every half hour until it reaches 165°FLet stand 20 minutes before slicing.

- The rectangular potmetal looking thing is actually aluminum and it is the DPFE sensorThe best way to test it is to take it to a dealer and have a scan tool hooked to itThe scan tool can provide a voltage reading to tell the technician whether or not the DPFE is workingThis sensor measures the amount of exhaust pressure that is traveling towards the EGR valve, and is a common problemIf yours is aluminum it has not been replaced, the new style DPFE is now plastic, due to the problem of corrosion from condensation in the exhaust, which will cause the old aluminum sensor to failThe plastic thing with the round top is the EGR vacuum regulator, this is in charge of sending vacuum to the egr valve to open it when neededYou really should not see a big change in fuel mileage with a defective DPFE, maybe some lurching while driving, but that still would be mildA trip to see a qualified technician could save you a lot of headache.
