- GM's dot not leave alot of room for adding larger wheels, you may get some fender scrapping on the front wheels with 32's on it. But you can pick up a cheap levelling kit for about $100 to resolve that and your truck will look better with the bigger tires on it anyway. I own a performance shop and I always get my customers to put a levelling kit in when they go to bigger offroad tires as it levels the truck, and gives more room in the front wheel wells which I believe you will need.

- lets not base too much in the numbers. A 97 F-250 and a 03 F-250 are not the same truck. The older trucks are are more heavy duty and just built better. The way I look at it is if you had a mid 90's F250 to buy a comparable truck now you need an F350. The F150 is basically a large ranger, A 250 is an old school 150 and so on. So in answer to your question the year and make are such a difference. I would take a 97 250 over a 07 350 any day but over that youll still get a heavy truck.

- I just put a steering wheel cover on mine. Now adapters for other steering wheels are in the 150 dollar range and the wheels are an additional 250 dollars. Miata Mania had direct fit ones in the same price range (199 to 230) which give a custom look the the wheel but do not require an adapter. The man things you need to check are: bolt pattern, usually written as 5x100, 4x100, 5x114 This tells you if you can even bolt your wheels on. the offset determines how far the wheel face is offset from the bolts, this affects how much they stick out. If the offset is wrong you could blow your bearings $$$ the size, usually written like 18x7.5 or 16x6 is telling you the diameter and width of the wheels, If they are too big or too wide they may rub on your wheel wells or reduce your turning radius.
