- Q:I am single, no children, and I make $38,500 a year. What tax bracket does that put me in and what does that mean?
- 15%. This doesn't mean that you pay 15% on all of your income though. The first $8750 isn't taxed at all, then the next $7550 is taxed at 10%, then the rest is taxed at 15%.
- Q:I have noticed that some people with braces seem to have smaller looking brackets with colored bands than other people. Is this true? Does it depend on your orthodontist? Or am I just seeing things and they are all the same size. I'm getting braces soon and I would like to know before I get them. Haha any answers are appreciated!!
- Usually the bracket size varies as to the persons treatment plan. Although, there are different size brackets to vary by the size of tooh. For example, the teeth in the front are usually bigger than the ones on the side so the size of the bracket would need to be different. Good Luck!
- Q:I don't understand the meaning of the word. Please tell me in layman's terms. What is a tax bracket and what does it mean to be in 15 or 25 or 30 percent tax bracket?
- If you are in a 15% tax bracket, then you pay roughly 15% in taxes. If you are a higher income earner, then you move into higher tax brackets and a larger percentage of your income goes to Uncle Sam.
- Q:I got my braces today, and one of my brackets got loose! I'll drop by my dentist's clinic this afternoon to have it glued back on. I'm worried though cause this week is Holy Week, and pretty much my dentists wouldn't be around. What if my brackets come off again? What do I do then? Thanks!
- Call your dentist in the AM and take care of the loose bracket. Also have him check all the other brackets. If your brackets do come off and the orthodontist has no one on call because of the holiday go to the drugstore and buy the soft wax in the dental section so you don't tear up your mouth. If nothing is sticking out it isn't necessary. However, if your wires are loose because of the bracket it is your dentist's responsibility to have someone on call, unless he or she would prefer you cut the wires with cutters.
- Q:I get a rough feeling when I pedal, with the gearing all okay, I suspect it must be the bottom bracket. How do I know what type my bike uses? Any site that i can refer to? Are they interchangeable?
- If that's a stable high quality MTB take it on your interior sight motorbike shop. setting up a backside bracket demands ineffective-on accuracy or that's going to completely screw up the steadiness of the motorbike. motorbike shops use purpose-made jigs to extra healthful backside brackets.
- Q:i put it on a bracket bcuz the glue came off the bracket. so i slid ( the bracket is still on the wire) the bracket by another bracket and put dental wax on both of them. is that ok until i go to the dentist? what should i do when eating?thanks for any input.
- Sure, it can't hurt to use the wax to keep it from flopping around, but call the Orthodontist first thing Monday and they will get you in to fix it.
- Q:Hey, so i have some maths homework and it's called multiplying brackets and says i need to expand and simplify! I really need some help on how to do it, i've had a really hard weekend and i forgot how to do it!
- They are like parenthesis like ( and ) . You distribute the first number and sign to the left of the [ to the inside numbers. Ex: -2[3-2x] -6+4x
- Q:I am really stuck on my maths homework and if anyone could give me any guidance that would be great. For example: x(x+6)Also how would you multiply out a bracket that has a number and a letter before the bracket? For example: 10g(g+6)I have learned this but my mind has gone totally blank. Thanks
- multiply, you have to multiply each term inside the bracket with the term outside the bracket x(x + 6) multiply x with x, and then multiply 6 with x x*x + 6*x x^2 + 6x 10g(g + 6) the same procedure multiply g with 10g and then multiply 6 with 10g 10g*g + 10g*6 10g^2 + 60g
- Q:First off, I'm not stupid. English IS my first language and once upon a time I did know this.I read a lot and I see a lot of different ways they're written. I know about clauses and where brackets go but I'm just wondering:-Does the comma go after or before the brackets?-When to use a comma (some brackets in the middle of sentences have commas before them but it's not really necessary?)-If a question or an exclamation is in brackets at the end of a sentence does the full stop still go at the end, like !). ?And about quotation marks:-Same as last question on brackets-Full stop inside or outside the quotation marks? I see bothHow ironic I used brackets asking the questions. anyway. Also after ellipsis do you have to capitalize?
- In America these ( ) are called parentheses, these [ ] are brackets, and the rules for punctuation may be slightly different in other countries. If you have a complete sentence inside parentheses or quotes and it's also the end of the sentence that contains them, you only need one period, question mark or exclamation point.
- Q:I usually use my Reference edition, which is about three years old. I noticed about two years ago that they changed the standard-size NWT by using a slightly better, crisper font. Also, they had changed the maps on the inside cover. But that was all I noticed because I rarely use that edition. However, I just noticed the other day that they changed Job 14:14 to compulsory labor, instead of compulsory service. Also, the NWT used to have certain words in brackets, words that weren't in the original languages, but complete the sense in English. For example, Genesis 1:1 used to say In [the] beginning . . . and now it just says In the beginning . . . I have two questions for JWs:1) Have you noticed any other differences? If so, what are they?2) Does the newer Reference edition (last two years) have these changes?
- While that is what the KJV also teaches, no they did not use any preconceived notions except that the Bible is the Word of God. A fine example of this is found at Exodus 28:19. What is today's meaning for the rock written about here? The truth is that no one knows. So many translations just made up a stone to put in there. Not so with the NWT. They used the real Hebrew word lash'em stone for the name. This provided them accuracy while not making something up based on speculation. As for using Jehovah, enemies of the true God have for centuries tried their best to destroy the Bible or failing that, remove the divine name entirely.
