50W Poly Solar Panel with High Efficiency Made in China
Product features:
1. The modules use high-quality imported polycrystalline or monocrystalline solar cells;
Enclosed by high-rigidity tempered glass, with excellent light transmittance and output performance;

2. Surface treated with reflection-reducing process, increasing the light absorption.
Back sealed with anti-aging EVA, resistant from moisture and corrosion.

3. The efficiency of our monocrystalline solar cell is over 17%, and polycrystalline panel is over 16%. We stipulate, the allowance of each panel's rated power has to be positive. Each panel is strictly tested before leaving the factory.

4. Our solar panel is designed with a lifetime of 25 years, and guaranteed that the power decline less than 10% within 10 years, and 20% within 20 years.

Q:are solar panels just a photodiode?A Photodiode converts light into either current or voltage? Right?
Yes, so are camera sensors. Except in cameras they're specially desgined to reduce noise.
Q:Currently being sold today! I know SunPower corp. commercial panels are about 20%.
New rollable panels are becoming available that don't have to be permanently attached to a surface and that are more resistant to damage than conventional panels. Right now they are also even less efficient than photo cells at about 0%, but the cost factor may make up the difference. Solar thermal is more efficient than photovoltaic cells. They focus sunlight with mirrors onto a pipe containing a liquid which is then heated to it's boiling point. That turns a turbine to produce power or is harnessed in some other way. The panels are cheap compared to photo cells, don't require perfect manufacture or exotic materials, no expensive maintenance and they are much easier to repair. I don't know of any available to individuals yet but there are at least two companies building generating plants in Nevada with this technology. SunPower is about 22% efficient but even at that rate it will take decades to pay for itself and the panels are unlikely to last that long at anything near optimal efficiency. The cost is just too high at present but solar thermal may provide a good alternative until photovoltaic cells mature, if you can cobble together a system. The final link is about a claimed 80% efficient solar cell that even generates some power at night. It's based on nano-technology, like many promising energy developments in batteries, electrolysis and ethanol production. If it works as advertised it should revolutionize solar tech. Eventually.
Q:Hi, I want to put some solar light in my yard, and wondering if a 00w solar panel could work for a few 3w dc lights....do i need a battery so they run at night, if so how many lights do u think i can run/ also i see elading solar light
No longer just any bulb will work on DC power. Any light bulb that's for 0voltage won't work on DC energy due to the fact that the element has too much resistance for a DC vigor provide to create ample heat to generate mild from the aspect. Nonetheless the do make mild bulbs that are designed to function on a DC energy supply and i might extremely recomend making use of the proper bulb with the proper vigour provide. Purchase some 2volt bulbs to be dependable......
Q:Do solar panels require a specific type of mounting system for installation?
Yes, solar panels require a specific type of mounting system for installation. The mounting system must be designed to securely hold the panels in place, ensure optimal sun exposure, and withstand various weather conditions.
Q:Can solar panels be installed on sloped roofs?
Yes, solar panels can be installed on sloped roofs. In fact, sloped roofs are quite common for solar panel installations as they offer optimal sunlight exposure. However, the angle and direction of the roof slope might affect the efficiency of the panels, so proper planning and positioning are necessary for maximum energy production.
Q:How do solar panels impact the local economy?
Solar panels can have a positive impact on the local economy in several ways. Firstly, the installation and maintenance of solar panels create jobs, boosting employment opportunities in the area. Additionally, the use of solar energy reduces dependency on traditional energy sources, which can lead to lower energy costs for businesses and residents, freeing up more money to be spent locally. Furthermore, solar panel installations often require local partnerships and suppliers, supporting local businesses and stimulating economic growth. Ultimately, the adoption of solar panels contributes to a more sustainable and resilient local economy.
Q:How much does it cost to replace a solar panel?
The cost to replace a solar panel can vary depending on factors such as the type, size, and quality of the panel, as well as any additional installation costs. On average, the cost can range from a few hundred to several thousand dollars per panel. It is recommended to consult with a professional solar installer or company for an accurate estimate based on your specific needs.
Q:Can solar panels be damaged by hail or strong winds?
Yes, solar panels can be damaged by hail or strong winds. Hailstones can cause cracks or fractures in the glass surface of the panels, affecting their efficiency. Additionally, strong winds can potentially dislodge or break the panels if they are not properly installed or secured.
Q:Hi! I bought a Coleman 2 vdc cooler that pulls 9 amps. What size solar panel and amp-hour battery do I need? I only open it 3 times a day. It will hold about 3 gals of milk.
If it pulls 9 amps continuously, that's 08 watts/hour or about 2.5 kwh/day. If it only pulls half that (does it cycle?) it's about .2 kwh/day. You only want to drain a lead-acid battery 50% or so, so you'll want a 5 or 2.5 kwh battery pack. A typical setup for the 5 kwh would be two L-6 batteries in series, and for the 2.5 kwh you could use 2 T-05 batteries in series. This does not account for days of cloud. If you regularly have cloudy days, size the battery pack for two or three days of use with no input (2-3 x the sizes given above). To charge them, you typically want panels that will charge your battery at least 5% of its capacity per hour (C/20). For 2 volt nominal panels that's 0 amps for the T-05 or 20 amps for the L-6 batteries. It's good to have more than that for battery life (it cuts down on what's called stratification), so you'll want probably 50-200 watts of panels for the T-05 and 300-400 for the L-6. You'll also need a charge controller. Peltier coolers are very inefficient. You'll save money by using a regular mini-fridge and an inverter. Most mini-fridges only draw 50 watts or so, so you're talking 600 watt-hours for a 50% duty cycle. This means two T-05 batteries will give you two days of use and you'll only need 20-50 watts of panel. DK
Q:they are pretty expensive. So does it save you money on electricity in the long run? How easy is it to connect solar panels to your house?
Yes, solar panels can cost allot of money up front. They will eventually pay for themselves over time. Today it is pretty easy to install solar panels. They've made panels so easy that you can pretty much just have a technician hook them up to the electrical box outside your house you start saving money. Any electricity you generate over what you use...the utility company will PAY you! If you dig my response please like me on Facebook (link below). Thanks!
